3 ★I have been using this wallet for a couple of years. Suddenly a month or so ago it told me that I had to give my Id etc so I could make purchases. Now it won't open. The app just freezes on my phone. All my crypto is in it.... Is anyone else having this problem??😢 I am very afraid that they have just screwed me for everything I had😰
3 ★Not enough info and too many fees! In order to know how your portfolio is performing versus how much money you've put in, you must either keep track outside the app or manually go through several screens for each coin to compare the market gains/losses. And get used to fees. I haven't taken any money out yet (which I hear there are fees for), but every single purchase of coin is paired with a minimum several dollar fee. I'm sure there are better platforms for trading coin! 👍
4 ★This review is for the application only, not the company. The app is still extremely slow to open. Once it finally loads it works fine. I've been using this app for the mobile exchange since 2017. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with it. Most of the bad reviews on here are from people who do not understand how crypto exchanges work. It's a shame because its driving down the rating of the app. These reviews should be filtered better. Tip : If you don't like the fees then download Coinbase Pro.
1 ★1 star until my issue is fixed! Was working fine, until a few days ago.. Now, the app won't even get me into pin code screen!! It stays frozen on blue Coinbase screen! PLEASE FIX !!! I like app, but things as simple as logging in should NOT be an issue... Thx for your time, please help...
2 ★Not worth it. Got it for investing in a few coins easily. YOU WILL NOT GET THE BITCOIN WHEN VERIFIED. Emailed customer support and they gave a few excuses but said "there is nothing we can do." Fees are the highest compared to other exchanges. Weigh your risk vs benifit prior to downloading. If investing in bitcoin, try other apps like striker, who are having zero fee bitcoin transactions.
1 ★Be careful with this. Several transactions went fine but then I bought$100 bitcoin and they took my money but did not give me the bitcoin. I sent 3 support emails and messaged them on Twitter and they do not respond. Not necessarily a scam but there is no guarantee you will get what you pay for. Update, it's been 6 months now. I'm still out $100, the transaction is still pending and Coinbase does not respond to emails or their support forms. I closed my account.
3 ★Problems 1) the pin lags on input which is very annoying. You have to wait 2-3 seconds after opening app to enter pin smoothly. 2) there is no purchase history that is easy to view to show profit/loss on a wallet, so it's difficult to see how much you added vs the gain/loss. 3) when doing a recurring transaction, specifically bi-weekly (1st & 15th) there is no indication that a transfer will happen directly after setting it up. It should happen on the dates listed, not during the setup.
2 ★The help system is an automated dead-end circle jerk without escape to actually contact someone for real help aside from just referring to the instructions and automatically closing the ticket without the ability to follow up. It would also be nice if you could see what a crypto is worth on the same page as your portfolio balance of the currency. Like a combination of the information found on the Watchlist and Portfolio pages.
1 ★If you like automated bot responses and empty promises then this is the app for you. Maybe you'll get the promised rewards for verifying your account, maybe you won't. Don't worry though, they'll close your case as resolved after a short time of doing absolutely nothing to resolve anything for you. Not content with that? Wait and they'll suspend your account. They'll take your money with ease but experience problems if you try to take your money back. Terrible for a publicly traded company
3 ★Unable to Load account since yesterday, there is only a button saying to try again. I exited the app, restarted my phone and nothing. I was looking for support and I am unable to find a category to submit a ticket in or reach anyone to help me out. Coinbase replied and obviously didnt read what i said i decided to uninstall and reinstall the app and it seemed to have fixed the issue for now. I like the app but customer service sucks.
2 ★Sure, it's easy to use but you better hope you never have to contact customer support because you will need a desktop and your phone simultaneously, they close your ticket without a resolution, and will charge you fees up the a$$ for everything. Use Voyager instead.
1 ★If I could, I would give this app a negative star. Don't even bother to download this app. Those people are not serious. They set my purchase limit to $1.0 but set up purchase minimum to $1.99. Customer service is unreachable through the convoluted and bugged interface. If you want piece of mind don't waste time on this clown show
