5 ★Great little combo of a rogue-like game and a card game. There is a bit of grinding to get more gold teeth in order to level up the characters to get them past the early levels. Becoming a noble makes this process go faster, but it's not quite balanced yet. I would suggest making the starting stat upgrades a bit less expensive to make the game a bit more repayable. Overall great game!
5 ★Honestly super fun game, which is completely free and ad free. If you like rogue likes or card games, this game is like a gold mine. Super addictive and a blast to play. I appreciate the developer, trying to go for a completely free to play mobile game and not requiring you to pay a penny to access it all. Very unlike most mobile developers this day. I even donated to the game's development. You deserve it man
5 ★A delightful aesthetic with straightforward gameplay that can get fairly deep as you learn. After two hours of play the game holds up very well. While the value of strategy might get lost in the RNG at first, as you and your characters improve, the game grows less unpredictable. It helps that it doesn't really punish you for failure in terms of character power. And while that power is gained through grinding, it isn't too slow and there are interesting challenges involved.
4 ★Very entertaining game and no adverts...bonus! I've been playing for a while now and really like the game mechanics. Maybe the tutorial could be a bit clearer but spend 10 minutes with the game and you'll start to understand the rules. You can play this game totally for free but I've purchased it to support the developer because he's done a great job.
5 ★Having a blast with this game. Good to blow a few minutes or a few hours on. 100% free to play and 0 ad content, so I've bought my first noble upgrade purely because I'm grateful for the concept and want to support the dev. Artwork is fun and appealing. Simple concept with enough strategy to keep me coming back. Only criticisms are that the characters are unbalanced, wizard is easily op in comparison to others who just aren't as valuable. Characters say "level 1" but no apparent way to level up?
3 ★Worst first time user experience I had in a long time, where you're loaded with everything the game can do even before you know why it does. Having the guide "forget" (narratively) what they have to tell you seems to be a cop out to the fact it drops to many things in your lap at once. The fact you have to drag your cards everywhere adds to the time and energy the player has to invest. Also, it doesn't have a single tap-hold command, not even for content inspection. In the positive, the visuals.
2 ★It's a good concept with nice art. I want to like this game, I really do, but I don't feel like I'm actually playing anything. The random chance weighs in much too heavily, it lacks the basic mechanics and factors other rogue-like card games do. It feels essentially as though its stuck behind a pay to properly play paywall, but I don't think that's the case. I feel with time and consistent polishing, this could potentially be very good.
4 ★Solid little game. Loving most of it. The classes definitely still need more work. Also would love to be able to access the map or main menu without a back button. Or the tunnel digger didn't take 100% of your coins. Makes me want to try and pass by with near zero coins just so I don't feel wasteful. That's annoying but might just be a personal issue.
5 ★Fun game, a small learning curve. That being said the tutorials make short work of any confusion. Also, keep in mind that this is a one-person development team so this earns a serious pat on the back. Funds are tight at the moment but you better believe that I'm coming to claim my king's crown as soon as I can. Very good game, and not loaded down with obtrusive ads like so many other titles are. Thanks for the work, and know you're doing a very good job.
5 ★brilliant game, a lot of fun and much more strategy required than the initial impression, i loved it so much i donated to support the dev, something i very rarely do! if i have one gripe its that once i got the strategy down i beat it very quickly. I played some more and maxed out some cards but i want more! dev when is the expansion for the second dungeon coming out? the weird dwarves promised someone of my skill would be put to use and not get bored!! XD all in all highly reccomended!!
5 ★**Edit** You deserve a better review. This game isn't just awesome fun and a great time killer. It's addictive, and very well developed for a solo developer. The graphics and art are nice and fresh, the controls work flawlessly, and there is a lot of awesome content. I don't like card games usually, I randomly found this game. Figured, why not give it a try. This is one of the best games I've played lately. Keep up the phenomenal work, and loving the King and Queen upgrade, cool flying pet. :)
5 ★such rare game that allows offline gaming and no pay to win. however, the grinding took quite awhile. i would like to recommend to change the upgrade system. remove the golden tooth. players can collect coins every match to upgrade the character or the cards only in that particular match.reduce the cost of the upgrade. by the end of each match, the upgrade on the character and cards will be removed. this allows us play with different strategy each match.
