2 ★The content is good but the audio book player is bad. There are no chapters or tracks, which makes a sing 6hr+ track difficult to navigate to say the least. The player regularly loses where I left off and only scrubs forward and backward in awkward increments. Player controls are not compatible with Bluetooth devices, so pressing pause on your car or headphones mutes the audio, but doesn't actually pause the track. So you lose your place, again.
1 ★So slow. It takes 1-2 minutes to play an audiobook that I've already downloaded. Player frequently breaks when not the active screen. It has lost my place in the book as well. Put it this way. This is my free option to listen to a book for work, and I'm going to pay out-of-pocket to use a different app.
2 ★Extremely disappointed in the product of such a professional organization. I have used Skillport for literally years of training as it's integrated into a lot of the technical training we need in the military. I saw Skillport had an app and was excited to be able to study on the go but was not met with the level of professionalism and care that had served me over the passing years. Content takes an immense amount of time to load, not every course available online is available here in mobile format and the books are virtually unreadable because of poor reformatting issues. I would love for the Skillport team to revisit this application to allow it to more closely align with the quality content its users recognize Skillport for.
2 ★very slow loading navigating and loading the contents. Sone cases they do not have latest versions and latest books in the field, and for most of the books the offline version is not available. regarding audiobooks once loaded and started to play you can't control it if you navigate out of it. You'll have the book playing while trying to find it to stop it
3 ★Easy to find training. Audio experience rough. Using on a Samsung Galaxy S6 work phone. Buttons to jump forward/backward will go unresponsive every session after a bit. Any interruption like a phone call tends to hose the audio so that I need to restart the app completely. Would like a clearer indicator on whethere the audio is downloaded or not so I know that can listen offline. Rest of the app pretty decent: Easy to find training and create interest categories.
5 ★I love using skillsoft- so many resources! I like the fact that I can listen to some of the books in audio format too! I utilize that often during my commute and when I'm traveling for work. I highly recommend this app for anyone looking to further develop their career and themself!
2 ★The app takes so much time loading for any action. And it can't finish loading at least half the time when I'm using mobile data. It's slow even with wifi. Audiobooks don't respond to bluetooth controls (can't pause or play) unlike other video or music apps. Using Skillsoft from my phone's web browser is much faster than using this app. Also, audiobooks have the option of being saved offline, but regular books can't be saved for offline reading??? This app still needs a lot of work.
3 ★I like the idea of having an app on my phone to use the resources of skillsoft. But this app seems to be broken. I feel that the app takes too long to load content. The book reading app doesn't work very well and does not allow changes to settings or navigation within the book. Just fix the app please.
1 ★I can't even get passed the login screen. I put in my Skillport username and tap "next". The button turns gray. Nothing happens from then, no indication that my action is processing or anything. When I delete a character in my username the "next" button turns blue again. Then I press "next", it turns gray, and again nothing happens. The cycle repeats like that never moving past the login screen.
1 ★Poorly thought out app, at least when it comes to delivering content for Project Management Professional. Displaying webviews, to view video content of an outdated mobile website is purely lazy. I would suggest an enhanced user experience by developing a more native interface for serving content and one that encourages those seeking to actually invest in enhancing their skills to do so.
4 ★It is a good app, but does not let you play all training videos or get into some training. Should allow you to download and play associated training videos without having to press next. It should auto play all and not stop for section tests, so you can listen while driving or exercising.
1 ★Horrendous app; terrible UI, unresponsive, every screen updates takes 30 seconds or more (on a 50Mb link), and the app crashed 8 times in a 10 minute period. This app is a perfect example of everything not to do in app development, coupled with poor infrastructure, design, and implementation.
