In the interactive GPS audio guide app „Önundarfjördur - Flateyri: Stories from countryside and seaside“, you can find information, stories and pictures regarding more or less all farms in the fjord Önundarfjörður in North-West of Iceland, from Ingjaldssandur in the south-west of the fjord Önundarfjörður to Hvilft which is near the village Flateyri in the north of the fjord.The app presents 4 different audio tours, walking- and driving tours around the area and services available in this remote area.
At Flateyri are 16 street points of interest around the village and each of them has detailed coverage of local places and events in text, images and audio.
The app takes you on a trip to far away places as; Ingjaldssandur, Valþjófsdalur, Holt, Bjarnardalur, Innfjörður, Breiðadalur and Hvilftarströnd.
The narration in Icelandic is read by the actor Elvar Logi Hannesson and in English by Neil McMahon.
