’৫২-র ২১ ফেব্রুয়ারি বাংলাকে রাষ্ট্রভাষা করার দাবিতে সংঘটিত ভাষা আন্দোলনে কি ঘটেছিল তা জানাতেই তৈরি করা হয়েছে “১৯৫২” অ্যাপ। এ দিনে সালাম, বরকত, রফিক, জব্বারসহ নাম না জানা আরও অনেকে শহীদ হন। ভাষাশহীদদের স্মৃতির উদ্দেশ্যে স্থাপন করা হয় শহীদ মিনার। পরবর্তীতে ১৯৯৯ সালের ১৭ নভেম্বর UNESCO দিনটিকে ‘আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস’ হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি দেয়।“১৯৫২”-অ্যাপটি চালু করে ‘শুরু করুন’ বাটনে চাপুন এবং ২ টাকার নোটের শহীদ মিনার উপর আপনার মুঠোফোনের ক্যামেরাটি ধরুন।
একুশের এ চেতনা এবং ভাষাশহীদদের মাতৃভাষার জন্য আত্মত্যাগের মহিমার দুঃসাহসী রূপ ছোটো বড় সকল মানুষের কাছে তুলে ধরা-ই “১৯৫২”-অ্যাপটির মূল লক্ষ্য। আমরা আশা করছি, “১৯৫২”-অ্যাপটি ব্যবহারের মধ্য দিয়ে ভাষা আন্দোলনের ঘটনা এবং তাৎপর্য মানুষের নিকট নতুন করে পৌঁছাবে।
The “১৯৫২” app is a new way for people to learn about what happened in the Language Movement of 21st February of 1952. On this day, Salam, Barkat, Rafiq, Jabbar, and many others met martyrdom for our language. Shahid Minar had been erected in remembrance of them. Later, on 17 November 1999, UNESCO declared 21st February as the International Mother Language Day.
To use the “১৯৫২” app, you need to tap on ‘শুরু করুন’ button and point your camera at Shahid Minar on the 2 taka note.
The aim of this app is to educate and inspire our generation to learn more about the achievement and glory that our Language Martyrs did for our mother tongue in 1952. We expect, through using the “১৯৫২” app people will learn the actual history of 21st February of 1952 and cognition of International Mother Language Day.
