1 ★I just ran into a frustrating bug. I completed a story mission and was told I needed to wait 1.5 hours until I could continue. I was encouraged to do side missions while waiting. I completed the side mission and shut down the app. When I logged in, my story mission progress had reverted and I have to wait another 1.5 hours. In addition, it undid my side mission progress as well. As far as the game itself goes, it has very little gameplay.
3 ★I like that game alot. But there are a few things that are just annoying. Like one mission can use up all your energy in one go. Then you have to wait. And for the second time I've closed out of the game went to sleep woke up and open the game Luke 8 hours laster and the last clip of the last mission plays and then it says I still have to wait the three hours again.
4 ★I have been playing this game for at least 7 months. I had a issue with playing quidditch, and the "fix" ended up setting me back a year. I have spent money several times now because the game is very slow and it was apparently for no reason, because I was set back a year. I informed them of what happened, and i am no longer receiving responses at all.
3 ★Would give more stars bc I truly love this game. It really is like you get to go to Hogwarts yourself. My only complaint is the energy thing, I get having to wait for it to recharge. But I'm at the point where I can use all 36 energy I have, plus all the videos I can watch to get more energy, AND all the secret energy spots, and still not finish just one lesson...so I can only play once and then I gotta wait like 4 hours before I can get back on and only finish the lesson from before...
4 ★It a good game and has a lovely story that I like but the problem is the energy system it is far to long to replenish i mean 4 MINUTES for just 1 energy? That is wayyy to long I think it should 30 seconds per energy just to make the game more enjoyable and fun. Also another thing you need to remove the time for to play the main quests!
2 ★WHERE TO START?! Good story (takes forever to get anywhere but I can live with that) but it tends to lag like hell, it crashes on startup so I have to relaunch it 2 or 3 times to get it going. Oh and on top of that the video ads don't play properly half the time.
4 ★I love this game. It has been glitchy lately though. I wasn't able to do a duelling event because I couldn't enter the room, so I missed out on the charm reward. With the new update, I have pages but can't use them to do any past adventures. The memory book doesn't work. And I'm really upset that some players got huge numbers of energy. They have an unfair advantage in the game.
2 ★It's a lot of fun, but since the last bug issue, it will no longer notify me when my energy is full, making me miss out on some of the class missions Update 5/28/2021: Now after taking a break, it doesn't recognize that I have completed classes, it wastes my time by requiring me to play the class over, even though I cleared all stars. All I did was sign out after I finished the class. It has done this many times and has caused me to miss out on special time limited quests. It's very frustrating!
5 ★Bloody Brilliant as Ron Weasley would say. Only ever played 2games in my life on any device. I don't need a joystick or controller so easy and so addictive !!!!! I've been playing a while now and the longer I play the longer I want to play. I've never purchased things in apps before but I've been so keen to progress that I made a few purchases so beware of the fun factor. The only comment I would make to the coders is, why do the boys and girls look as if they are all wearing nappies (diapers)🤔
3 ★This is an absolutely wonderful game. I love the story, I love my character, I love being back at Hogwarts! My issue is that I agree with the other reviews that point out how much energy everything takes and costs. Want to hang out with a friend? Two energy bars. Want to go to class and learn a new spell? Three bars for one study session. Energy costs more money than in other games. There are no 0.99¢ deals, every time you want energy it's going to cost you at least $5.
2 ★I was really hoping the glitch where you spend energy in the game only to go back and find out that it didn't count and the event is almost over and you still have to complete the task even though you were nearly done would be gone. I've been told to make sure I'm on wifi and my progress will be saved, well I'm always on wifi. I'm nearly done part 3 in the dating task and it won't let me complete 8 hours. I have to keep doing it over again even though i just did it. Fix this. It's been years.
3 ★Story interesting but energy refill too slow. Too many events & side quests running at the same time. Gems, coins & notebooks are earned at a low rate which slows the game. Now you have to collect pages & make notebooks! Duels pit you against someone who has a greater attribute level no matter what level you reach. Annoying game
