4 ★some of the romanized words in Thai are the same. so they are difficult to distinguished. if the developer could take a look at the consonants, you will get what i mean. otherwise, 4 stars for a potentially very good app and great timely updates.
5 ★Exceptional App. Visuals are tremendously helpful for language learning and making connections. Trial version is actually good. It makes you wait 10 hours before you start again. It's proven by research to space your learning, cramming is never helpful. Regardless, developers of this app deserve their every penny.
1 ★I downloaded this because I liked scripts and the app looks good but the lack of showing the right way of writing things _like scripts does _ along with the massage it sends me (can't loud sound files_and I tried it both online and offline _) is putting me off because these two are very important when learning new languages for me alongside alphabet, words and grammar. I hate to say it but it disappointed me alot, I was expecting so much more from drops because of my experience with scripts...
5 ★Finally a different way of learning! I like this method as it does not involve tedious typing and you can control whether you want to learn a word or phrase or not. Finally I have control over what I learn with many different ways to check learning too. Great app. Thanks.
3 ★Great at what it does, but word for word translation would help. Took off two stars: one for double notification reminders, another for, another for weird latinization, like rat bee ree for ras-be-rry and no tonal marks . Does give you bonus time, sometimes 5 mins, for consecutive daily use.
4 ★I think when you get a word right it should give a little more time to process and memorize, because it gives about a second before it is on the next word you have to either know or guess and it is hard to memorize words that way at least for me.
5 ★I am using Drops to teach myself ten languages, including Thai and Vietnamese, and it is by far the best app I have ever used for language learning, I am making progress so much faster than ever before and it makes language learning fun. Definitely recommend!
5 ★Best learnig app for thai if you pay fully for it's subscription, most of the old bad ratings have been fixed, because drops has a habit of not checking things and needing reviews and reports to fix stuff. But when they are fixed, its the best. And now there aren't that many mistakes within the app.
4 ★Seems good so far but i find it dufficult with the pronunciation of the words , would be better if it showed you in English how to pronounce the word for instance Cheese is cheet but sounds like she is saying cheese and fork sounds like me instead of meet so if it could for like fork show how it would be pronounced in English ie meet pronounced me
3 ★I'm a complete beginner and started with letters. But I stuck, because Thai has four KH sounds ข, ค, ฃ, ฅ, ฆ of different classes, and in this app they have strange names "khăaw" and "khaaw" — I don't want to remember which one has the ă with ark, and which - w/o. It would be better to indicate the class of the letters, and print the well-known names (chaw chang). Maybe I didn't get the idea, so you you know how to use the app - send me a message))
4 ★Just completed the first lesson. So far so good. We'll see how it goes in a week or two. After 4 days all is good except, there needs to be a way to change "Chan" to "pum"! It makes a BIG difference! Fix this and I'll change to 5 stars and buy the product.
1 ★Hey the alphabet looks all over the place... The speaker sounds "Korakai, korokon, kuwai, koaei" and everything in between, but the romanized transcription is "khaaw" for all of these. Is that possible... I really want to learn Thai. Please tell if it's just like this or if it's a mistake...
