PDIT Info Anyhwere! Anytime!Proudhadeveraya Institute of Technology, is one of the leading Engineering Colleges of Karnataka, situated at Hosapete, in Ballari district, India. The college is affiliated to VTU and recognised by AICTE. Hosapete is near Hampi, the erstwhile capital of Vijayanagar Empire and a world heritage site. The College is managed by Veerashaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha of Ballari, an education society serving for over 100 years the needs of education in and around Ballari district of Karnataka.
Proudhadeveraya Institute of Technology, (PDIT) established in 1997, offers 5 undergraduate programs, 2 Post-graduate programs and 3 PhD programs. PDIT offers Bachelor of Engineering Courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering.
PDIT is situated in a sprawling 20 acres of land quite adjacent to Tungabhadra Dam. The campus is homed in a spacious building with calm, decent and serene environment and is congenial for the pursuit of knowledge.
