Aplikasi ini mengambil konten buku Durus Al-Lughah (Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab) Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor karya Imam Zarkasyi dan Imam Syubani menggunakan metode langsung di dalam proses belajar-mengajar yang akan disajikan dalam bentuk aplikasi ponsel pintar.
Metode Langsung/Direct Method yaitu dengan memakai bahasa target secara langsung dalam interaksi antara guru dan murid, dan guru tidak menggunakan bahasa ibu (Bahasa Indonesia) sama sekali dalam menerangkan materi pembelajaran didalamnya.
Bagaimanapun aplikasi ini hanya sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran yang tidak bisa menggantikan peran buku, kelas dan ustadz (guru) yang sesungguhnya dan hanya bersifat membantu ketika dalam kondisi tertentu.
Tujuan yang ingin diperoleh dari pembuatan aplikasi ponsel pintar ini adalah memberikan alternatif media pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, pemanfaatan teknologi ponsel pintar untuk hal positif (pembelajaran) dan membantu agar proses pembelajaran Bahasa Arab lebih efektif, efisien dan dinamis.
