Begitu juga dalam proses pembelajaran yang umumnya masih menggunakan buku sebagai medianya, hal tersebut dirasa kurang efektif dan efisien manakala kita tidak sedang berada diruang baca. Sehingga penggunaan media smartphone dirasa perlu ketika dalam kondisi tertentu.
Penelitian ini mengambil buku Durus Al-Lughah (Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab) Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor yang akan disajikan dalam bentuk aplikasi ponsel pintar.
Bagaimanapun aplikasi ini hanya sebagai alternatif media belajar yang tidak bisa menggantikan peran buku, kelas dan ustadz yang sesungguhnya dan hanya bersifat membantu ketika dalam kondisi tertentu.
Tujuan yang ingin diperoleh dari pembuatan aplikasi mobile ini adalah memberikan alternatif media pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, pemanfaatan teknologi ponsel pintar untuk hal positif (pembelajaran) dan membantu agar proses pembelajaran Bahasa Arab lebih efektif, efisien dan dinamis.
