Description

This is the clock app from Android 4.4 Kit Kat. I have been able to port this app for backward compatibility upto Android 4.2 Jellybean.

I'll be working to port this to 4.1 Jelly Bean and below in the coming future, but for now minimum version needed is 4.2.

Features:

-The new KitKat font throughout the app.
-KitKat Analog and Digital Clock widget.
-KitKat Stopwatch
-KitKat Timer
-KitKat world Clocks
-KitKat Alarms

And I have tweaked the new Kit Kat circular time chooser to a white theme to make it look more beautiful.

More features will be added soon.

This app is completely free and without ads. If you like my app, please buy my other app, Holo Camera Plus and/or Nemesis Camera.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★If you have Android Lollipop, the alarm will not work unless your screen is on. I really wish you could fix this because I don't want to go back to the disgusting TouchWiz clock.
4 ★For some reason, whenever I run the stop watch and open the recent apps page, I get a message "Unfortunately, KitKat Clock has stopped." I can go back in and the app is still running. It works fine. But the message is annoying. Is there a way to solve this? Or is it just an S5 thing?
5 ★The clock works great as far as I can tell. My device is running Kitkat but Samsung screwed up the clock widget, as well as many other things. This app fills the void so now my tablet fairly well matches my phone. For those complaining about 24hr support, check your system clock settings.
1 ★It seems that the Alarm in this app is not working or not going to alarm you when the phone is locked or sleep. And it immediately alarms only when you unlock/wake the phone which is kinda stupid. This is the reason why i missed my morning class this day!!!!
3 ★I liked it. No longer works after the lollipop update on the at&t galaxy note 4. It plays the first note of the alarm and then I get a notification that I missed the alarm. Not as helpful as it used to be. Back to the Samsung app. Meh.
1 ★Worked great until then, now only works occasionally or not at all. Has screwed me up already. HTC One M8 Verizon. Please fix
5 ★Author backported the vanilla Kit Kat clock for Android 4.2. I actually have Kit Kat on my tablet, but Samsung chose not to include the vanilla o'clock. Thanks!
5 ★I don't know why Sony thought their absurdly overcomplicated clock app was better than the stock KitKat one. Thanks for allowing me to fix their error!
3 ★Clock works fine, but I'm having the same problem as others. The alarm at most just makes a single "blip" sound. Glad I wasn't trying to get to the airport! :P
4 ★The stopwatch makes the application crashes after pressing home button. I would also like to have the original circular time selection...
1 ★Would be great if I knew the alarm would consistently work. Sometimes it does, sometimes the alarm goes off for a second, and sometimes not at all, which makes it a useless app. Uninstall.
5 ★I got a phablet with android 4.2 and the alarms don't repeat the sound, making it mostly useless. Downloaded this guy and now it works perfectly, I can use the short audio files I downloaded (i.e. rooster crowing) and it keeps playing the sound file for the set amount of time or until shut off. Thank you!!!!! That was my only aggravation with this phone and you fixed it. Only slight annoyance is that on my rooted phone I've now got two clock icons and I don't know how to get rid of the original one (if I even can) but that's minor thank you so very much for doing this for us!
