Welcome to the Kansas City Zoo! We are excited for you to come and explore our 202-acre nature sanctuary. The Zoo features a Sea Lion Show, Keeper Chats, elephant painting demonstrations and many other opportunities for animal encounters. Visitors can take a safari boat ride across the lake in the Zoo’s African Plains area where they’ll see hoofstock, including zebra, giraffe and more.The Sensory Friendly Kansas City Zoo app was designed for all guests including those with disabilities and their families or school groups, to fully engage in the Zoo experience.
