Sriwijaya fc palembang-merupakan klub professional asal Palembang Sumatera Selatan Klub yang menggunakan Stadion Gelora Sriwijaya Jakabaring Palembang sebagai kandangnya ini memiliki julukan Laskar Wong Kito. Adapun fans fanatiknya diantaranya S-Mania, Singa Mania dan Sumselmania.Sejak berubah nama menjadi Sriwijaya FC dan dikelola secara professional oleh swasta, prestasi tim ini menjadi luar biasa, dibawah asuhan pelatih legendarisnya yakni Rahmad Darmawan (musim 2010/2011 diganti Ivan Kolev), Sriwijaya FC berhasil menjadi juara Juara Liga Indonesia tahun 2008 dan secara gemilang meraih hatrick juara Piala Indonesia (Copa Indonesia) tiga musim berturut-turut 2008, 2009 dan 2010. Adapun tahun 2010 ini, diawal kompetisi ISL 2010/2011, Sriwijaya FC berhasil menjadi Juara Piala Antar Pulau (Inter Island Cup) 2010 yang merupakan gelaran pertama turnamen pemanasan resmi ala PSSI ini.
