Aplikasi Android resmi dari Pondok Pesantren Al-Khoirot Malang sebuah pesantren salaf dengan sistem modern Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah (Aswaja), aqidah Asy'ariah, mazhab Syafi'i, afiliasi kultural NU.Pondok Pesantren Al-Khoirot (PPA) Malang menganut sistem pendidikan terintegrasi (integrated educational system) yang merupakan perpaduan dari sistem salaf (tradisional) dan sistem modern. Hal ini tak lepas dari kultur pesantren Aswaja yang terkenal dengan prinsip المحافظة علي القديم الصالح والأخد علي الجديد الأصلح (memelihara nilai dan sistem lama yang baik, dan mengadopsi nilai dan metode baru yang lebih baik). Tidak hanya itu, PPA juga mengadopsi sejumlah pola pendidikan Islam yang ada di luar negeri seperti kajian Tafsir dan hadits dan tidak hanya terfokus pada disiplin ilmu fiqh, nahwu/sharaf, dan ilmu kalam. Dalam kajian tafsir dan hadits juga ditingkatkan intensitas kajian perangkatnya (ilmu hadits, ushul fiqh, ilmu tafsir, dll).
Secara garis besar kegiatan pendidikan di PPA terbagi menjadi lima. Yaitu, (a) pengajian kitab kuning (كتب التراث), (b) madrasah diniyah (madin), (c) sekolah formal MTs (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) dan MA (Madrasah Aliyah), (d) program intensif bahasa Arab modern dan (e) Tahfidz Al-Quran (menghafal Al-Quran).
