4 ★If you're one requiring instant gratification, this isn't for you. It took 2+ weeks from the time I triggered the transaction for the vehicle to be delived and worse yet, around 3 months for regisyration & title (although, I'm sure covid had a part in that). On a brighter note, the vehicle arrived in near perfect condition, better than I had expected. It's quite a leap of faith to buy a big $ car sight unseen, but other than the lag time to complete a cash transaction, it was an OK experience.
5 ★I waited until my process was completely done & I've had the car about 2 weeks now. Everything went very smoothly. I was skeptical the entire time, but it's just as easy as the commercials say! The man that delivered my car (Sam) noticed some scratches that were not shown on the site & he put in for them to be repaired at no cost to me of course, I just need to set the appt. The app is easy to use & I appreciate the emails/texts to keep the communication going throughout the process. 5/5!
1 ★Maybe its just me, or my phone. But this app and the actual website and my phone do not like eachother. It freezes and then goes all wack. Also, pictures arent that great, there could be more, especially the interior of the vehicles being showcased. Not really a good first impression. I will most likely be uninstalling and finding another source to browse vehicles with.
1 ★Had a very horrible experience With them... long story short after ordering my car they Send a text message back to me saying that they will have to cancel the order and when I call to find out what happened they told me my car was stolen, Try to pick a newer car that was just a little bit more for the same price and they basically said you have no obligation with us and haven't heard back from them since.... "great customer service" 👎
2 ★As for the app itself I found it pretty good. Not perfect but fir the most part good. So far I love my new car, and the app made shopping and looking for the right vehicle easy. Now for why only 2 stars. Ever since I installed the app and set up an account, I have been getting flooded with spam email to my email I used to set up my account with. And for some reason it by pass the spam filter and goes straight to my main email, NOT COOL. Selling emails is not good business.
3 ★Buttons don't work properly, scrolling is laggy, they classify substantial dents as "level 1 imperfections and standard wear" the app is slow and inconvenient to search through. You can't accurately search by make or model or feature initially. You have to type some random keyword in or click a pre-made category then go into the filters they choose for you, deselect them all and add your own. It's better than it used to be but has a ways to go
1 ★Trash. The app contains the same buttons which the website has only when you attempt to click the button in the app it just directs you to their website where you then have to log in only to click the same button again... Which is an apt metaphor for how awful Carvana has been to work with so far. Also, the "track vehicle" button doesn't do anything except display a map with an indicator for my address... Possibly because Carvana apparently loses their cars a lot (they lost "mine", anyway).
2 ★The app is fine, wish they had a filter with free shipping. Customer service is very hit or miss. When you call, if for some reason you get "disconnected" (Or they just hang up on you) they say they will call you back but they won't. Then you have to call again an wait another 20 min on the phone to speak with someone who may or may not provided great customer service. So yea have not gotten a car yet with them. A bit turned off now because of the experience so far.
2 ★I think this might be a great way to buy a car, if the filters actually worked & saved your preferences, and not only on the filters, but everything else. Everytime you look at a car you have to sign back in &, if they allow you, reset your filters. Oh, & don't click on the ❤ thinking it's going to save your choice; all it does is trigger a purchase. It's really a shame, this could be so helpful & has a lot of potential.
1 ★Good luck trying to change the financing filters. It starts you with $10,000 down payment. If you try to enter $5,000 down payment, it auto adds "$5 down payment" to your search filter and returns 0 search results. Then, when you remove the filter, it defaults again to $10,000 down payment. For a company whose whole gimmick is easily buying and selling cars online, a frustrating UX bug like this is totally unacceptable.
3 ★Not the best app I've ever used. Slow, not enough ways to filter results (like interior color), some filters don't work (like remote start), but mostly it sucks because it doesn't allow you to save searches. Edit. After 3 months this has gotten better. Now you can save cars to you favorites, but it still falls short of its potential. Needs to be faster, and easier to narrow down the search. Still looking for a feature and interior color filter that works.
5 ★Best car buying experience Ive had so far. For the most part this car buying experience was... convenient, seamless, transparent and haggle free. They provided me a piece of mind with thier vetting process. The only negative is the stop clock thats present at the time of purchase. It kind of contradicts the whole Carvana experience. I will definitely refer friends and family.
