İzmir’in en batısında yer alan Yarımada, coğrafi olarak Karaburun, Çeşme, Seferihisar, Urla ve Güzelbahçe ilçelerinden oluşuyor. Bölge Karaburun, Çeşme ya da Urla ilçelerinden hangisi söz konusuyla onun adıyla anılıyor. 171 bin hektar alanıyla Türkiye’nin en büyük yarımadası; batıda ve kuzeyde Ege Denizi, doğuda İzmir Körfezi ile Menderes, Balçova ve Narlıdere; güneyde ise Kuşadası Körfezi ile çevrili. İzmir Körfezi’nin güney kıyılarının büyük bölümü Yarımada’da yer alıyor. Batıda Çeşme’nin Sakız Adası’na, kuzeyde ise Karaburun’un Midilli Adası’na yakınlığı, bölgenin kıtalar arası konumu hakkında bilgi veriyor. Karaburun’un en uç noktasındaki Sarpıncık Feneri ile Ege Denizi’nin kapıları Akdeniz’e açılıyor.Uygulama aracılığı ile bu bölgelerde tematik rotalarda yürüyüş yapabilir, doğanın keyfini sürebilirsiniz.
