1 ★This app is brutal. I'd give it 4 stars if it even functioned on a basic level. It crashes as soon as I go to Chromecast.
1 ★I was excited at first when I found out I was able to download Citytv on my Firestick but that excitement faded quickly once I started using the app. It's easy enough to sign in to be able to watch all of the shows, but what is frustrating is that you could be mid-way through an episode and all of a sudden it'll boot you out. Then not only do you have to re-log in, but you have to restart the Firestick first otherwise the app glitches out and won't let you enter your credentials. Super annoying
1 ★This app has very good shows but it literally breaks every 2 days. Every 2 days it tells me I can't watch my series because I have to sign in & when I try to sign in, it doesn't let me so I have to uninstall the app & install it again to be able to watch the show I want. It's also EXTREMELY annoying how the ads have different volumes all around, specially when their volume is much higher than the show so if you're wearing headphones your ears are dead. There's much more but there's no space here.
1 ★The shows are great but the App itself could use some work. 1 Doesn't hold the spot where you have stopped watching. 2 Kicks outs often with no spot of where you stopped watching.( Then you have to watch a bunch of ads again which I understand cause ya gotta make money) 3 You are unable to cast the app then start the show. (Minor inconvenience but it gets a bit annoying) 4 No " continued to next episode" option that makes some apps oh so lovely! Anyways I love CityTV BUT DO BETTER!
3 ★Overall the app is working fine so far. It freezes occasionally, but not often enough to uninstall. Casting works well, which is a must for me. However, as other reviewers said, there are A LOT of ads and the volume really needs to be equalized better. The show is one volume, and the ads are significantly louder to the point where it's uncomfortable.
1 ★Constantly freezes, always makes me miss part of the show I'm watching. I always need to have multiple devices present in order to have a backup to watch any show because the app is guaranteed to freeze. Sometimes it works on my phone but not my iPad (or vice versa) sometimes neither and I have to go sit in front of my desktop computer using an internet browser. I'm currently on ten minutes straight trying to get the app to stop getting stuck in a loop of ads, freezing on the same hair ad.
1 ★This app has not worked for me for months. I tried uninstalling and reloading several times. It tells me there was an error in the stream and to try again later. On some occasions it asks me to log in through my service provider. It tells me that my provider hasn't provided me with sufficient authority to access. I contacted my provider, who told me that from their end, it should work. They gave me an email address, which they said was the app developer (ie City TV), and I received no response.
1 ★App won't open due to bug. All other apps open fine, even my other TV apps. Tried clearing cache & data, and uninstalled and reinstall, but it still will not open
1 ★It stopped casting to my Google Chromecast which makes it much less useful to me. I keep getting errors messages that it's due to a bug
2 ★Using the Apple TV app. For the last few months, it was working fine. The only thing really annoying (which should be fixed, btw) was the very loud volume on the ads. But it hadn't crashed for a while. But this week, it began crashing again whenever I try to play something. I can't watch anything anymore. I tried the Android App on my phone and it doesn't even open!
1 ★Refusing to allow me to cast to my t.v. worked fine until about 10 days ago and now it is constantly freezing and crashing unless I only watch on my android device.
2 ★This app is so buggy, it will stop working randomly. The screen share option works less than half the time.
