Use this app in conjunction with your favorite GPS tracking apps, devices, and/or services to monitor their locations and navigate to them with ease. Chasing your friends, family, and pets on their adventures just got much easier!As a hang glider pilot and avid adventurer, I have used a variety of different services for logging and reporting my location. I use Gaggle and SkyLines to log every flight and provide real-time location tracking. I also use a SPOT GPS Messenger as a backup and for providing location tracking outside of cell service (Cell service is almost nonexistent once you get high enough off the ground). Unfortunately for my chase car driver, however, there was no good way to track my location in relation to the car. In other words, unless they were familiar with the area, they were constantly switching between the SkyLines map, the SPOT map, and Google Maps to try and figure out exactly where I was, where they were, and how to get from point A to point B, all while attempting to focus on the road and drive safely. This app aims to eliminate that hassle and stress to make the job of chase car 100 times easier and safer.
Trying to keep tabs on multiple pilots, all using different devices and services to report their location, and all taking different flight paths? No problem! Just add each device to the list and go! You will see everyone's location, along with your own, all on the same map. Once everyone is in the list, press and hold one to begin chasing them. The overlaying compass will then begin pointing in the direction of the last reported location for that device.
