Erkrankungen, die infolge falscher Ernährungs- und Lebensweise entstehen, stellen nicht nur für den Einzelnen, sondern auch für das Gesundheitssystem eine massive Belastung dar. Im Rahmen des interdisziplinären Gesundheits- und Lifestyle-Projektes „MoYo“, das für und mit SchülerInnen im Raum Salzburg im Herbst 2014 startet, wird ein Programm zur Wissensvermittlung mit Schwerpunkt ausgewogene Ernährung entwickelt. Dabei werden zum einen gesundheitliche Aspekte in Bezug auf Herz-Kreislauferkrankungen, Diabetes und Übergewicht vermittelt, und zum anderen praxisnahe Möglichkeiten zur Verbesserung der Ernährung näher gebracht.Der Ist-Zustand des Gesundheitsstatus von Probanden wird anonymisiert über die Messung von Laborwerten festgestellt. Folgemessungen sollen zeigen, ob das Interventionsprogramm zu einer Verbesserung der Laborwerte, der körperlichen Fitness und des Gesundheitsbewußtseins allgemein führt. Für die Dokumentation des Ernährungs- und Bewegungsverhalten stehen Smart Phone Applikationen zur Verfügung, die auch als Feedback zur besseren Selbsteinschätzung genutzt werden sollen.
Ziel des Interventionsprogrammes ist die Förderung des Gesundheitsbewusstsein und in weiterer Folge die Verbesserung der Lebensqualität des Einzelnen. Basierend auf den erhobenen Daten können sowohl qualitative als auch quantitative Aussagen über die Effizienz des Interventionsprogrammes gemacht und für die weitere Planung von weitreichenderen Maßnahmen genutzt werden.
