STORY:
The tiny sorcerer Egbert needs a new home and, as all wizards, would love to live in a tall crooked tower. Unfortunately he is too clumsy to build it himself. That’s why he opens a portal to the magic device of his new helper – you.

GAMEPLAY:
The Tower of Egbert is a physics-based tower building game with a magic twist. You are able to build freely until the tower is tall enough to reach the target line of the current level. Hitting a start button activates gravity for a few seconds and your construction either stands or falls. If any single block of the tower is still above the target line after the physics simulation stopped, the whole building is magically “frozen” by Egbert, so that the already completed sections of the tower will never again be subject to gravity. In the next level you will have to build on this newly created, always different, often crooked, foundation – a task that can turn out to be quite challenging.
The overall goal of the game is to build the highest, most impressive, or most creative tower of all. There are hardly any restrictions on how to construct a tower which leads to an unlimited amount of building choices for you. It’s possible to use thousands of blocks (bricks, arcs, roofs, decoration items, …) to build quite impressive towers and discover interesting areas as the building grows towards the endless vastness of space.
Of course there is much more to the game than just the placement of some blocks. You have to fight gravity, winds, falling rocks, and other dangers on your way up but will be rewarded with one of the most comprehensive and flexible building experiences on the market.

Brand new Creative (Sandbox) Mode for The Tower of Egbert. Construct whatever you want using an unlimited amount of building blocks & deco items. All level dangers are removed for this new mode and gravity is optional - you can choose the countdown duration (0-5 seconds). 5 ★Ran out of energy, none to collect on the 6th chapter. Is that a hint to buy? I am not allowed to purchase things. I had 32 at the begining of ch 6. And cant get old ones to load. I thought that would be the case.
5 ★Why is anyone hating on this game? It is fun and has a good replay value. I'm looking forward to the addition of an open mode. Thanks for putting out a good game. I will be buying the all included pack, as to support your work.
4 ★Very interesting, unique physics game. Unfortunately it suffers from a few things are making it impossible for me to progress. First, with enough blocks, the game starts lagging very badly (Nexus 5). Second, there is no incentive to use less blocks (other than less lag I guess). Third, when placing the grey blocks, they don't always stay in place and wiggle out of their spaces while still building.
3 ★But can't seem to find level goals, so I keep failing. Don't really understand the menu either. There are blocks left and right, what's the difference? And I have to open the menu every time. Why not leave it open? Probably this game isn't for me. :)
4 ★I like the suspense whether my tower will tip or not. Wish there was an option to gridlock floating islands since the rest are like that but otherwise I make do. Hard to out the game down as I just want to keep building up. Would love to see a free play as well and maybe a tip and trick level progression but the game is fun to play right now
3 ★While simple gfx might be the advantage I totally dislike the courgette nosed wizard. Though this is not the main drawback. The biggest problem... after finshing a few levels 5 seconds ads between each level is something unacceptable. Uninstalled the game.
5 ★I'm having trouble putting it down, this game is a great time killer. It took a little trial and error at first, but now I am building crazy-tall ridiculous looking towers! Very fun. A little hard on the phone battery, but worth it IMHO.
5 ★It's a real fun game, in which you just build towers, castles, whatever you want! The only problems are the ads, and that there isn't any creative mode, in which you can just go create whatever you want without limits. Other than that, it's a must try!
5 ★I'd like more capabilities of going back to a previous state, I forget to save and the limit to how far you can undo is annoying but otherwise I love it. I just like to create and don't really play for the points... perhaps a creative mode with unlimited undos, no physics, and all blocks/details unlocked? Just a thought, love the game!
5 ★I really like the game, but (this is to the developers or developer) could add an eraser tool (or make an option of the two choices like tapping or eraser tool in settings) instead of just tapping to get rid of something? Cause when I try to place blocks down in tight spaces it'll erase a foundation block or something else and then I'll go into a panic and forget about the undo button and end up destroying everything. Thanks! :)
5 ★The game is great and addictive but I really hate the ads that ignore my volume settings and blast their noises at inopportune times. I will more than likely by no ads in the future but I wish they were silent in the mean time.
5 ★This game just keeps me wanting to go higher! The physics are decent, the decorations should click to position better, and the whole thing is pointless. But the big question: Is it fun? Hell yes!
