Jole es una aplicación para el cálculo, diseño y dimensionamiento de placas de orificio. El principal uso de estas placas es generar una pérdida de carga. También se pueden utilizar para controlar el caudal circulante.Con esta aplicación podremos realizar tanto el dimensionamiento geométrico, como el mecánico, determinando en este segundo caso, el espesor necesario para la placa.
Además definida una determinada placa, podemos calcular la pérdida de carga para un determinado caudal, o la caída de presión para un caudal.
Por último, una vez definida la placa, y dado el caudal circulante, podemos determinar si se está produciendo cavitación en la placa.
