Description

Pest animals cause significant damage to our environment, the economy and society. This App can be used at any time to record the location of pest animals in your local area, record the problems they are causing, and record control actions you undertake. Your records will be submitted to the FeralScan community pest animal mapping website www.feralscan.org.au, to help develop and maintain an up-to-date picture of pest animals throughout your region. This information can be used to monitor populations, and to better target pests through coordinated pest control programs. Future versions of this app will include additional species, and more advanced mapping and data recording features.

The species included in this version of the application are:

* DeerScan - Record deer sighting information.

* FeralFishScan - Record feral fish sighting information.

* FoxScan - Record fox sighting, damage, and control information.

* FeralCatScan - Record feral cat sighting, damage, and control information.

* WildDogScan - Record wild dog sighting, damage, and control information.

* RabbitScan - Record rabbit disease, sighting, damage, and control information.

* MouseAlert - Record mouse sighting, damage, and control information.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Shot 80 in 6 days 22 in 10 mins oneday... in the middle of nowhere. Imagine the feral cat populations outside cities. Est to be over 3mill feral cats in nwqld that can eat 4 or 5 native species a day. Unbelievable.
1 ★Cats are not 'vermin'! They are loving animals. This app and the happy hunting it inspires is no solution to cat overpopulation. Trap/Neuter/Return is the only humane answer, and it works. If millions of cats are actually exterminated by 2020, the rodents and venomous snakes they would have killed will swell their populations as never seen before. Think of all the disease THAT would spread. This app is pure evil and should never have been given a space on Google Play!
2 ★Need to be able to select location by map like on pc - app won't find location and I don't know latitude & longitude . I have fox notification I can't load until I get to the pc -"app is useless until that is fixed
4 ★Great app, love the program. Just wish there were more species.
1 ★Just wish there were more species like feral human
3 ★Although already logged in, app opens with login sidebar open instead of closed.
4 ★Need to add deer, brumbies and donkeys to the list
4 ★Good start, I would like to see the option to browse a map for sittings of ferals. Looking forward to the other pests getting added.
1 ★The most invasive species on the planet is the human species. It is time to stop scapegoating feral cats and other naturalized species and take responsibility for the habitat decimation, deforestation, land modification, chemical use and pollution that wrecks havoc on Australian wildlife --all caused by humans, and all the result of Australia's primary industries. Let's turn the blame onto where it really belongs -- humans -- and leave feral cats and other wild and naturalized predators alone.
5 ★Good tool for me when out culling and camping around wa
5 ★Cant wait to see it once fully utilised
5 ★Good way to clean up your neighbourhood of feral cats
