Tips for taking a good ID or passport photo:
1) Look straight at the camera. Ensure that the width of head does not exceed half the width of the photo
2) Ensure that the background is plain, white and well lit
3) Try to eliminate shadows that are caused by overhead lighting
4) Minimize the distance between the person being photographed and the background to reduce shadows on the background
5) Include the person's upper body and have space above the head in the screen display of your camera
6) When using the front-facing camera, use both hands to hold your phone so that your shoulders will have equal distance from the camera

4 ★I took a photo (selfie against a white wall, natural light) based on their guidelines, printed the generated 4x6 photo at the local drug store for less than a dollar, and used one of the photos for my application. I just received my US passport so apparently it was good enough! Thanks for saving me a lot of money =) The app is not super polished but I would definitely recommend it to a friend
2 ★Making passport photos by creating new picture works well but while I select saved photos then the screen goes blank. I am using Samsung Galaxy s3 4.4.4. Is there any fix for this bug? If so I will rate 5 star.
1 ★Useless apps if you can't allow to print out the correct size. I tried every paper settings of my canon printer, fit to page, borderless or so. but still couldn't print a page of photo ID 50mmx50mm on a 4R photo paper. Just not the size it said it should be printing.
5 ★Don't understand why others complained about this app. Very easy to use. You specify the dimensions for country passport/visa requirements. I managed a useable photo on the first try. Whole thing took about 45 seconds and I hate taking selfies.
4 ★I wanted a series of 2x2 photos, and this app was able to help me accomplish that. The app did not allow me to start a new photo, though, so u had to close and reopen the app for each photo. Once the photos were made, I had no trouble printing the photos at the correct size at a pharmacy photo kiosk.
5 ★Used this app on my MotoX with no issues. I followed the instructions and the passport office accepted the photo. Saved the picture locally (don't forget to set your folder location in settings). Saved the file to my Google drive and then copied it to a thumb drive. Printed at CVS for $0.49. The advertising embedded in the app was never in the way of usage. Great App Thank You.
3 ★Crashes upon attempting to use in latest Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). So, until program is rewritten for compatability, fundamentally useless. Taken the middle-of-the-road rating here as 3-star to be neutral on the rating.
1 ★Why don't you make your app so it can be installed on the sd card. So many apps like this makes it pointless to have an SD card.
1 ★Cant connect to any previously used printer and keeps trying to send to office works. Usless over complicated setup and full of rubbish adds.
1 ★passport photo app that does not let you brighten the background separately from the face is nit very useful also sure, you need to play ads - play one at the beginning and once when i save but not when I'm abandoning an image and loading a new one - I'm obviously frustrated with your app at that point
5 ★Okay, so usually when I need an function of an app, I download the app, Use it, and delete it. BUT this before uninstalling, I actually left a review as the app was perfect! All it lacks is a background cleaner.
