Description

Focal Finder helps you finding out how different subjects will look with a certain focal length!

It uses the camera of your device to simulate the zoom-factor and will immediately show you how your final shoot will look like.
Never switch lenses again if you don't need to! If you shoot with prime lenses, you can easily find out which one suits best for a certain subject.

Create presets for focal lengths you always want to see.

You can simulate larger focal lengths than the ones your smartphone/tablet has as well as shorter focal lengths.

Features:
- Simulate different focal lengths (Wide-Angle and Tele)
- Set Aspect-Ratio
- Show Grid
- Freeze image and save camera photos
- Create individual presets of your favourite focal lengths

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Exactly what I was looking for. Multiple frame lines and ability to change the FoV in which they're embedded. I wish I could enter a 35mm equivalent number manually (and persist that setting) rather than dragging a slider, but this works very well already. Not sure why this app is rated so low
4 ★Useful app to visualise different lens field of view. Just wish that custom aspect ratio is available. Hopefully for next version.
4 ★It has hung a couple of times, but otherwise works well. I managed to calibrate it and compare with my camera. Useful to explore other f lengths to make composition choices.
2 ★It works but why do you need persisten access to my files???
1 ★Doesn't work, just keeps 'preparing'
1 ★It just... It just zooms.
5 ★A little laggy but great for visualizing focal length without switchinglenses
2 ★App is very laggy on my Note 3. A bit disappointed.
4 ★Like it
1 ★I just installed this on my Galaxy Nexus (after paying US$0.99) and guess what? The app didn't work. It starts but I don't see any image and when I click on the button with the eye icon, the app crashes. Really disappointing.
4 ★If like me you work a lot with prime lenses and want to quickly see if it's worth changing the lens to a different focal length for the shot this is a great app to have. The frame lines really help to visualize the difference the different focal length makes.
5 ★It wasn't working on the s4, but with the last update it worked. Great app!
