1 ★ios version is better. In Android version you can't write out characters. Reviews are poorly done since there's only a "review all" option- so you can't just focus on Katakana after you've learned Hiragana for example. The last lesson of Katakana causes the app to close. Ok, but there's probably better or there. EDIT: this doodoo app keeps asking me to review it even though I already have. Shove off!!
5 ★This is great if you already have just a little basic knowledge of Japanese. I use it when on the train or waiting around. It slowly builds your vocabulary and understanding without overwhelming you and focuses on very practical settings. Also great for reviewing. For me, it was definitely worth purchasing.
3 ★Professional learning app for Japanese I love it and have only one complaint. My girlfriend likes it too she can access through her app settings also to incorporate learning how to write the Japanese characters. Her phone is an iPhone and mine is an Android. However, said Android, can't access the Japanese learning app's settings; I would like to learn how to write Japanese too. Please make it so Android users can also access the settings of the app to incorporate how to write Japanese characters. Thank you Howell Zachariah

4 ★Great app for learning Japanese so far as I've gotten. Pay wall once you get to a certain point but its only $3 for full access compared to some other apps which can go for a monthly fee upwards of $10. Well worth the price as far as I know.
5 ★Love it!! My only complaint is that the review all is for every lesson you have done. I wish I could customize the review. For example just review katakana without the hiragana. I am working around that atm but would be nice. Totally worth the $3!
5 ★It's a pretty cool app just to learn kanji and the other characters you can even set it up the writing feature which is nice because you learn by doing it's awesome. You do have to pay to unlock after the first 3 sets I believe but it's not much and worth the 3-4 bucks you pay
2 ★where has the sound gone to !? I paid for this app, £7.99 to unlock all of it, but after the letters section, there's no more sound! wot!?!?!?!?!? I gave the app 5 stars earlier because it asked me to rate it at level 2. I skipped ahead and there's no sound now!

5 ★Amazing app, I have barely been using it a week and I am certain I'll continue to use it for a long time. Great tools for memory and recognition, prompts you when you're due to review what you've learned. Very useful learning tool.
