The AutoCheck Mobile App is designed for consumers who are interested in obtaining detailed vehicle history report records. Users can enter a vehicle’s identification number (VIN), or scan the VIN barcode. A paid subscription and active user account with www.AutoCheck.com is required to receive reports. Learn if a vehicle has been reported in an accident, branded a lemon, damaged in a flood, reported repossessed or stolen, and more.Unlike other vehicle history reports apps, only AutoCheck reports include the patented AutoCheck Score, a tool that enables you to understand a vehicle’s past quickly and easily, compare it to other vehicles, and lower the risk of buying a vehicle with undetected problems.
AutoCheck is powered by Experian, a global leader in information solutions. Unlike other vehicle history apps, our app will provide you with the same vehicle reports that are highly valued by thousands of auto dealers, leading U.S. auto auctions, and manufacturer certified pre-owned programs – who use these very same reports to ensure they are bringing their customers the very best vehicles available. Our data comes from many sources, including: the Department of Motor Vehicles, auctions, insurance companies, police-reported accident information from all 50 states, and critical information on storm-damaged vehicles and vehicles registered in Federal Emergency Management Agency storm damage areas at the time of major storm events. It also includes maintenance and service data (when available).
Please note that this app does not allow you to manually keep track of your service/maintenance data. For your personal security, reports run on the AutoCheck.com website (available via the website dashboard) and reports available via the app history are not synchronized. You will not be charged duplicate for obtaining the same vehicle report on both platforms. Because you will always see the latest record information available when viewing a report, an active internet connection is required when viewing reports stored via the app history. The vin barcode scanner functionality may not be compatible with all Android devices. Active AutoCheck.com account users will be able to enter a VIN via text entry. SD Card with available storage required to store reports and send email. Scanner will not scan invalid VINs. Android 4.4 (API 19) or later is required.

1 ★I paid for unlimited access and the app doesn't work. I see numerous complaints about the same thing. The only way to search is via the computer Internet. This used to be a good product something has happened and the company has dropped the ball. Stay away from... get a CARFAX
1 ★App does not work. I receive the message "...an unexpected error occurred" with every VIN entered. Tried multiple times just in case there was an issue with the download/install. No luck. AutoCheck is lucky that the website does work. Hope you wisely invest the money I've paid you - we will not be doing business again.
1 ★Paid for unlimited checks for 30 days and can not use on my Droid. I ran the VIN on my home computer and I get what I request, turn around and try to run same VIN on my phone and I get " An unexpected site error has affected your request". AutoCheck needs to fix this app ASAP and furthermore, check their apps performance before release.
5 ★A great application for your phone and computer. Love the vin scanning ability and storage. A must for all car shoppers even if they will give you a report from another company. Don't be fooled by a the one that is passing off a junk car or a salvage yards friend, as a cleaned up single owner special. Even at a dealer. Do your homework.
1 ★This app is garbage.... I wanted to go look at some cars to and check the VIN.... Guess not...
5 ★When I set up my account with AutoCheck, I set up a password using "special characters". The website will accept this and work from a web browser, but the android app won't recognize the password and give you " an unexpected site error" message. I changed to only use alphanumeric characters and now the android app works.
1 ★I know that the website has a good reputation for thorough vehicle histories but this app simply doesn't work. For a work around I think I will just use my web browser on the phone and deal with zooming in and out. What the hell AutoCheck, jump on this!
1 ★My phone is an LG Intuition. ... I have never been able to get VIN Number info. It doesn't matter whether I scan or type in the VIN #. DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. IT was free and I was still cheated.
