Orca Scan is a GS1 Approved barcode scanner app designed to make it as easy as possible to track assets and inventory using your smartphone.It is fully configurable; simply add/remove fields to capture the data you want, then export in various formats - including Microsoft Excel, JSON, XML, CSV or edit via your online account.
HOW IT WORKS:

Download Orca Scan - Barcode Scanner APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

5 ★Awesome for book cataloguing in moves Book collection over 40 years is huge maybe 80-90 boxes. App makes inventory v easy. Export to excel csv v useful. Only improvement I would love is for old books foreign books wo barcodes a camera picture lookup of front cover .. would need some ocr but would save me about 3-5 minutes per book. V satisfied user still thanks so much 😄
4 ★Please add option to save csv file locally on device. Edit: My default viewer don't have option to save the file. Would be great if file directly save in choosen directory via orcascan app or by default in documents directory. Also free version lacks importing initial data from csv. Very helpful for small businesses if this is present. It will help updating data faster on device without cloud, generous for small businesses. Cloud is very expensive, not affordable by small businesses.
4 ★The app is very nice. I have the below suggestions Create an extension for Microsoft office excel. Connect the mobile app and excel sheet then the scans will be transfered to the excel in the pc in real time. Will help a lot. Thank you for the app.
5 ★Now a perfect barcode reading and recording app. I would give it 5 stars if one thing were corrected. My only real desire for this feature packed utility would be for it to use the sheet name as I created it rather than "orca-scan-barcodes.xlsx" when selecting Export>Share via>Add to Dropbox or even allow me to name it as I save it like it does for Google Drive. otherwise its a solid 5 star for sure. ****EDIT**** Just made this 5 star for making it save the sheet as named in the app in Dropbox😎
1 ★The scanner is so inaccurate. Recently, I scanned the same barcode 3 times and got 3 different results. I can't trust that it got the number right. The app does not even allow the camera to focus completely before reading a barcode.
2 ★Don't enjoy scrolling down the list to find the right option. Would prefer to be able to type and get suggestions to choose from. Would save me a lot of time. Also would like an option to copy and paste entries with possibility to edit it after paste.
5 ★Brilliant app which does everything I need it to and then some. Stock taking has never been easier. And the design is very very nice and sleek too! If you're looking for the Genius Scan equivalent for barcodes and QR, look no further.
5 ★Works great. Scan is fast. Optional notes very handy. It Emails Excel spreadsheet. Works every time. I have never lost data. I use it to set up PM routes and have never had a glitch. Best scanner I have ever used.
4 ★Great overall QR scanner. Only downside for me is you have to get the qr code exactly in the middle or it wont scan, but it's not too difficult. Easy to use and customize. Exports all my codes as excel file for easy data review!
5 ★An absolute no brainer if you are dealing with multiple types of products and/or large inventory! So easy to use!! Put your products into different groups for easy access and you're off to the races!! Just perfect! ❤️
2 ★I'm using this app for my new job. 98% of the time when I try to use the Cloud Sheet I get the pop up error "Unable to load Cloud Sheet data, please try again later." So I do try again and again and it doesn't work. I even restart my phone and it doesn't work. I also uninstalled the app a couple times and no luck. Please fix this ASAP so I can continue my new job. - Moto Z4 user.
1 ★Seems impossible to scan the correct barcode if you have several close together. Needs to identify ALL barcodes on the screen and then allow you to select the one you want before moving on to the next screen.
