とある不思議な研究所にDr.クレアというとても変わった研究者がおりました。
彼女は研究の末、長年の夢だった不思議な生物を生み出すことに成功しました。
研究で生まれた不思議な生物達は甘えん坊だったりマイペースだったりとみんな個性的で、Dr.クレアはこの不思議な心を持つ生物達を「Phantasmens（ファンタズメンス）」と呼ぶことに決めました。
Dr.クレアが彼らを調べた結果、彼らはまだまだ生まれたてで幼いためかおしゃぶりを着けていました。そして、彼らはまだ不完全なため分裂してしまう特性を持っていました。その特性のせいで彼らはどんどん分裂していき研究所中に溢れていきました。
この状況に困ったDr.クレアは、分裂したもの同士が触れ合うと消えて元に戻ることを発見しました。
