1 ★Picture jpg file viewer is clunky. Tried to go through folder of photos and it took forever to load each individual photo. Need way to be able to scroll through photos and choose the one you want. It tries to bring up every photo in order and can take a minute to catch up.

Have been using the Videostream app & it's extremely smooth & simple. Only reason I'm persevering with ES is my familiarity & loyalty to the platform which is waning fast as there's been no response to my email to the tech team about this either 👎

5 ★I keep reading about people complaining because this app won't cast their avi movie files. Chromecast will only play mp4 format movies...its a limitation of Google's program, not this app. I suggest that you do a search here for an app called Format Factory. You can easily use this to reformat your avi files into mp4 files. It also gives you many other audio and video reformatting options, and can increase the functionality of this app immensely.
1 ★Couldn't get it to cast using Chromecast audio. It now appears the cast functionality is broken with Google Cast -- 5/12/2016 I removed this plugin along with the main app. Es file explorer now brings Adware to your Lockscreen.
1 ★This plugin used to work perfectly. Now it doesn't. After locating my MP4 file, ES File Manager asks which plugin I'd like to use to play the file, I select this plugin, it sees my chromecast, but then just goes black on my phone and doesn't stream to my TV. I've refreshed my network, refreshed my chromecast, reinstalled the plugin....nothing. I sent a request for help about a month ago and have yet to hear a response. It's a shame...used to be one of my most used tools.
1 ★Used to work great, now it consistently fails across all chromecasts, all media types, all devices. Cyanogenmod through native samung and LG. Please fix it, it was great, and a light of positive chromecasting amongst a bunch of dismal ad laden alternatives that can't manage smb remotes
1 ★The chrome cast part work very well and now it doesn't work plz fix again and again til it's working, I'm using a note 5 by samsung and it worked on this phone no problems, and the same on my samsung tab s 10.5 and same nothing. Fix fix fix plz and I also bought the pro it worked 1 time.
3 ★I have a mkv file I trying to stream (cast) via this plugin, but it only shows the movie and no sound. Quality is excellent on video, but can't use without sound. :(. Will give it 5 stars once fixed.
5 ★I got a Chromecast for Xmas and I was a bit skeptical whether it would work. After updating my TV Portal app and a few other tweaks it's the best thing ever. Can watch all my favorite shows, as I'm not in the US. No more waiting. 👍👍👍👍
5 ★Every picture, audio, and video I tried to play worked just fine. I had no issues with playback or controls. Keep in mind that your device may hinder functionality, especially if it's older. I've tried other Chromecast streaming apps and this one gave me the least troubles and takes up the least amount of room. It's definitely staying on my device.
