Description
Het Westerborkpad is een wandel- en bezinningsroute die loopt van de Hollandsche Schouwburg naar het terrein van Kamp Westerbork.Deze wandeling in het spoor van de Jodenvervolging is ontwikkeld door Herinneringscentrum Kamp Westerbork en KNBLO Wandelsportorganisatie Nederland.
Het WesterborkLuisterpad, een productie van Hummel&deBoer, hoort bij het Westerborkpad en bestaat uit audio-items die langs de route te beluisteren zijn met een mobiele telefoon. Persoonlijke herinneringen aan de Jodenvervolging zijn te horen op de plek waar de gebeurtenissen zich hebben afgespeeld. Overlevenden, mensen die langs de route woonden en getuige waren, verzetsmensen, vrienden van Joodse slachtoffers, mensen die Joodse onderduikers hadden; allen vertellen hun persoonlijke verhaal.
Voordat je gaat lopen is het aan te raden om de gewenste etappe(s) te downloaden. Dan hoef je geen gebruik te maken van een open internetverbinding en kun je de route op de bijbehorende etappekaart goed volgen.
Het is aan te raden op pad te gaan met een opgeladen telefoon, een oplader en een koptelefoon of oortje.

Let op: Er staan nu zo'n 30 verhalen in de app, medio September worden er nog zo'n 30 verhalen toegevoegd en is het WesterborkLuisterpad compleet!- Bugfix bij 'Alle verhalen' zodat deze niet meer in de achtergrond gaat afspelen als je de pagina al hebt verlaten.
- Nu verbeterd zodat ook wandelroutes die nu nog geen audioverhalen hebben ook alvast kunnen worden gedownload, zodat je die ook nu al kan wandelen!
