A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★What a silly app. I love it because it's such a valuable resource, and really the only one of its kind. I don't love it because of the constant bugs and lack of updates. They finally seem to have fixed the pictures not loading - which is fantastic. It was so frustrating trying to distinguish which out of the 400 different Rubber Soul variants I have when I can't see the labels. But now I can't add anything to my wantlist 🤡. They've at least been proactive about the recent influx of scammers
3 ★I absolutely love Discogs and used it all the time, but recently (Sept. 2023) it has become completely unusable, taking forever to load anything and crashing often. I tried clearing cache and everything else I could think of, but nothing helped. Seems to happen from time to time and takes a long while to get fixed. Great app when it's working, just wish it worked more often.
1 ★Can't log in, so can't use the app. After entering the 2FA code and clicking "Verify", the page doesn't navigate anywhere or take me back to the main app. Tried clearing apl cache and storage, but to no avail. Meanwhile, login works fine on the mobile site in the same browser that's being used to authenticate me from the app. I hadn't used the app in awhile, so perhaps something broke or just changed in a weird way that introduced some incompatibility. 🤷
2 ★Generally I Love this app. But the current version has a bug, and it has been barely functioning for a week. This seems to happen from time to time. Previously, obviously, they have been able to fix these problems. But currently it's a no go. Again, when it's up and running as intended then it is BY FAR my favorite and most used app. By far the best place to buy and sell vinyl records, as well as other music media formats. But right now it's just free frustration....
5 ★Very happy with this app. I am rebuilding a vinyl collection. The data base that is Discogs is substantial. My collection is eclectic and covers many genre...that said with every record I input 99% of the time not only did I find my album. But I also found 60 different possible choices. Year of issue, reissues, where it was issued, who issued. Pictures of covers and variants of the cover. All the way to the albums collectibility. Buy and sell options as well. Check it out!
4 ★Widgets would be great... if I could use them. It seems my collection is too large to show a random album on my home screen. If I uninstall, reinstall, and try again, the widget shows one album before breaking again. I can only set if there is a title banner or not through the collection widget, which gets overloaded even faster! The title banner covers most of the album art; album collectors don't need that. The app can't handle it, and all I want is an album chooser on my home screen.
2 ★Overall a nice app with clean UI; the fact that they even have an app for Discogs makes it better than web-only options like Rateyourmusic. That being said, there's a pretty app-breaking bug for me on Pixel 3A: whenever I go to My Collection, it instantly shows me a random item from my collection as a pop-up. Clicking away/ pressing back dismisses it, but it instantly shows you another random item. The only way to escape the bug is to fully restart the app. Fixing this will raise my rating.
2 ★Despite its many many (many) flaws, this is (unfortunately) the best music cataloging app for Android. The main issues they should fix: adding a record to your collection often results in an error and you have to scroll through your collection until you find it to update the info, the collection is very frequently unavailable, and you cannot search your collection using the app.
5 ★This is the perfect app for a music collector. I don't give out 5 stars so easily but Discogs is exactly what I need to keep track of my 1000+ CD collection. It's a very user friendly to navigate, search album information, check your own collection and it even gives an approximate value of your collection. Before this I had to try to just memorize everything that I had and hope I didn't buy doubles. Now if an album is in question, it takes 5 seconds to see if I have it or not.
3 ★Love it, but..... I like that I can see what the albums prices are going for, etc. things I really wish they would consider 1. when you input the Album/Cd/cassette I'd number, it brings up a whole slew of that same album and you have to select each one to find your issue. ( would be REALLY nice to have THAT release/issue date, etc. be the one to show up and the you can add it to your catalog. 2. make the issue/release info darker. the light grey, small print is difficult on the eyes
3 ★first off, I Love Discogs. the website is great, and I use it on my pc regularly to check on prices of media I have, but the app is buggy. I download it, use it for a day or two, and suddenly, it's unusable. search function doesn't work, I get stuck on the loading page, I can't view anything. I hope it gets fixed because an app is so convenient, yet, the bugs make it a chore to use.
1 ★As others have said, the app has been broken for over a week now. Edit: Still broken for about a month now. The app has an error whenever I try to login. Edit 2: Still broken after about two months. The website is great. I highly recommend it. But the Discogs team has thus far said very little about the issues of the app except "We are working on it".
