La plupart des écoles en RDC ne disposent ni de points d’eau potable, ni de latrines appropriées. De plus, ces dernières sont très souvent mixtes, ne permettant pas de distinguer les besoins spécifiques des filles et des garçons. Ainsi, le Ministère de l’Enseignement Primaire, Secondaire et Initiation à la Nouvelle Citoyenneté, a mis en place le Programme National « Ecole Assainie » afin de contribuer, au quotidien à améliorer l’environnement d’apprentissage des élèves dans les zones rurales et péri-urbaines de la RDC; par des interventions visant l’accès à l’eau potable, l’hygiène et l’assainissement et par la création d’un environnement sain et l’adoption de bons comportements d’hygiène individuelle et collective.Latest updates
