It navigates you to the optimal stations based on your EV's cruising range and the charging station status.

How to install DRIVEtheARC Legacy APK on Android phone or tablet?

1 ★Horrible app. This just simply doesn't work, I needed to charge my car as I was stranded and needed a charge. I get to whole foods and get a promo ticket. The app said everything worked but when I went to scan the qr code and active the charge it said it was not valid. I had to close this app and login into evgo to activate the charge. 3 clicks on the evgo app and I'm charging. This app is trash and a waste of space

4 ★Some app errors but it saves money(free charging), time, and gives livestatus about the availability for charging at stations

4 ★App is finally working as intended in all aspects except for Stats. I haven't received or seen any charge stats. Preceding month or preceding week or current charge. Would like any promo code (as long as within approvied timeframe) to work at any station. Currently if you request for one station and make it to another you cannot use an unused code you have to request another.

1 ★Didn't work when trying to activate the charger. App just kept redisplaying the map. No response from the support team. Had pay evgo Flex plan rates instead to get my charge. Uninstalling.

1 ★Why only Nissan Leafs?

1 ★With the new 1.3.0, besides the old issues not get fixed, they introduced new error. I got "Thirdparty api error 4004" quite frequently and also "timeout error". The previous one is stable with other issues, but the issue with this new version makes it unusable. Called to evgo support, some said they do not start charge for the drivethearv now. It seems the app failed to contact the backend server. An interesting thing is their server responsible for changing password (drivearc.vm2m.jp) is also down when the "timeout error" happened. ~~~~~~ initial review ~~~~~~ Spent 30min, failed to find a way to charge. The app failed to initiate a charge when GPS is not working or does not exist in your tablet devices. You have to use the navigation feature to get a charge ticket. In order to continue, I think it will check GPS and save your coordinate in "internal storage/com.drivearc/tmp" before continue to the google map. Why not just use Google location service as other apps do? Why do you need exact GPS location and save it in the log file? Even though I was standing right besides the charger and the 3D bar code scanned ok, I can't get a charge thru this app. Plus it does not work with my other android 4.1, why limit to 4.4 and above only? I bought a new tablet for this without knowing the GPS requirement and have to buy another new phone to get it working. The phone was bought just for this app, so wifi only and that also presents quite a few challenges with this app, like it will require multiple restart app, re-connect/navigate when the intermittent wifi signal lost in the parking lot.

2 ★Put in all the info took a pic of the QR code and it doesn't work.....haven't tried anything else

2 ★Missing a lot of charging stations, car list not updated. Too many permissions being asked
