Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Bikes are heavy, slow, and gear changes are jumpy, but bike maintenance is very good. Faulty bikes are usually removed within a day of being reported. I've used stationless bikes in Munich and they were in a much worse state. App is buggy. Random notifications you can't clear, the map takes ages to load and unlocking the bikes always takes exactly two attempts. QR codes don't always work, but the bike number works fine. Coverage is v good, and only once have I not been able to find a bike nearby
1 ★Continuos problems scanning code to open lock. Very frustrating.
4 ★some great fixes in the last update and the app rarely gives issues. The bikes are nearly always in good condition and the team seem quick to resolve issues. At this point the biggest issue is the size of the fleet but the team seem to do a good job in ensuring a reasonable coverage across Dublin. All in all this is better than Dublin bikes
3 ★Brilliant idea! But sometimes it takes ages to show where are bikes available, if shows.... The seat is a bit uncomfortable,
1 ★the bikes are good but the app is very poorly designed with many flaws. If you have a problem on the weekend there is no technical support
1 ★I downloaded the app last week and had issues on 3 out of my 5 rides. In all of them I couldn't finish the ride. The issue didnt seem related to my connection as other apps were working normally. In one case I was charged €11 for a 3min ride because the ride wasnt finished until the customer service team did it manually the next day. I have been refunded the overcharges but all these issues put me off using the app again as i wouldn't want to get stuck.
2 ★The app is useless. The service is great, but because of the apps failures when you need a bike the most it just doesn't work if you end your journeys sometimes it doesn't stop so you'll get charged for 24 hours. Customer care will fix this issue for you but they are only open mon - fri so if you plan on using your bike at the weekend be careful. Honestly just get Dublin bikes the whole year is cheaper than 3 months here!
1 ★Website links don't work (pricing, faq, contact us), so tried the app to see if it might offer any insights into pricing. Nope. Maybe after registration, but that's a little late. Who registers before looking at pricing and how the scheme works? Not easy to browse bike locations without registering first, which I'm not going to do until I've seen pricing and details of how the scheme works. Dissapointing user experience.
2 ★fitst time user, made 2 journeys today. great idea and many bike available on the streets. bikes are in acceptable condition. the problem is with the app itself. loactions of bike and your own position were shown incorrectly on the map. all offset about 100m. extremely frustrating. the constant purple background is annoying when zoomed in. had minor difficult unlocking one bike. but i have reliable reports of inability to unlock bikes. get these basics sorted and you will have a great service
3 ★In theory an idea that could be excellent is left down by 2 factors. One the app is clunky and slow. Normally have to scan bike twice to unlock and takes 20-30 seconds. These problems could be fixed not major. The main problem is the bikes themselves. Uncomfortable slow and tyre grip is awful. Ok I am not expecting high level spec but comparing to Dublin bikes these fall well short and need to be addressed. I would not use for journey over 10 minutes
3 ★Great idea but for god's sake can they make the app less clunky?. I feel sorry for anyone like me who relies on this this app to commute because it is not by any stretch reliable. Usually have to scan the bike 3 or 4 times for it to unlock, if it does at all. The bikes themselves could also be improved alot, very uncomfortable and slow a real pain in the arse (often literally).
2 ★I've been using this app for the last couple of months and the 'idea' is fantastic but the actual app is quite poor. It can take ages for bikes to load on the map, when you move the map to zoom in or out bikes will often disappear then come back. Also when unlocking the bike via typing in the code on the wheel the app often tells me invalid QR code and goes back to the map. So you have to type in the code incredibly quickly. This makes the app very very frustrating to use on a daily basis.
