Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

2 ★While this is a useful application, the barrage of alerts in succession is highly irritating. One or two alerts would suffice, thank you very much. Yes, it's free and I didn't pay a dime for it. But, unless you can improve the app and fix the constant notification problem (or at the very least let a user decide), then this one's getting binned. On the positive side, it is easy to use and not user-unfriendly.
1 ★Good and simple app but too many notification is annoying. It kills the purpose of the app. Not only that, once you read the messages, not sure where it saves them. It seems it most probably be deleting them after you read. I did not found any options to go back to history of the messages. On Apr 15, 2018 getting strong wind warning for Toronto and GTA and picture came on the message is high flood / storm water showing a bus and lot of cars dip in it. I understand these photos are not real or from a live incident but why one in the world sending a warning message of high wind and attaching a high water or flood picture. I most probably be removing this app from my phone.
2 ★I agree with the other reviewers from Canada. Please improve upon this app so people have the option of seleecting the alerts that are relevant to their locale, while being able to cancel the other, unnecessary alerts. I have just received three, very loud alerts, for wind warnings. It is commonplace for us to have high winds during the winter, so the alert is unnecessary. Otherwise, the app is a great service. I hope that you will fix the problem. Thank you.
2 ★I live in Victoria, BC and I have just received 10 alerts for a winter storm warning that may or may not include snow for higher elevations. There is no way to disable the alerts or set them to vibrate only. I would like to be able to set the hazard alerts to tsunami and earthquake only but that is not an option. .
2 ★VERY LOUD ALERTs all flipping night for a bleeping winter snowstorm in Canada. In Canada you say? Pity. One alert per hectare around each area chosen is great for being in the middle of a forest fire or downwind of one but 30 VERY annoying and excessive winter storm alerts when you are trying to sleep sux. TIP add an all in one volume control for ALL chosen alert areas yes? Example: The weather channel only gives Environment Canada alarms once then just posts silent updates as you check site UNLESS a tornado is actually bearing down on your immediate region. (yawn) Oops look at the time: gotta hit the wintry road now that I am all tired from not being able to sleep all night. Hint Hint. Lots of good stuff and tools on the app guys but tweaking is needed pls.
4 ★Good information, and I like the location alerts and the option to list the contact info of loved ones in the area. The quizzes have bugs which are a bit frustrating.
3 ★Great idea but I am in an area on a current evacuation alert and according to the app though there are no alerts!
4 ★All good
3 ★Good start, needs work. Done areas of the UI have duplication of features. And two major features are missing (IMO): ability to create a reunification plan to sync with family who have the app on their devices, ability to have family check in via the app (should be able to pull up a map and see who checked in, and where they were).
2 ★Nice idea but can be executed much better. I get many notifications within an hour of pretty much the same alert. I've had about 10 notifications within the last hour about the freezing rain that is currently falling from the sky. Nice idea but very annoying...
3 ★This seems really useful, except the notifications are incredibly annoying. I get *far* too many notifications for the same (completely tame) weather events, which means I not only learn to ignore them, but disable notifications from the app because I don't want to annoy other people. I get that you want a noticeable notification sound, but I really wish this app would understand what is high enough priority to yell about with a loud notification (eg: I didn't already know about it), and what isn't. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing where this goes. It's a very good idea :)
3 ★Good app for preparedness but like others said, the alerts are too many for one warning and very annoying! Please, there has to be a way to silence them or change them to vibrate because they wake me up in the middle of the night!!
