Description
This app gathers information from three U.N. sources: United Nations Careers Portal (as known as Inspira), the International Civil Service Commission (ICSC) and the Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM) website.Each of this websites contains information about available jobs in United Nations. So, basically, what our app does is to gather all this information together.
In the Inspira Website you can find the job openings, but you can not find an estimated salary.
In ICSC website you can find (after some work) the XLS files with the base salary, which does not correspond to reality. You should calculate the salary of P Positions manually based on three or four different spreadsheets to achieve the real value (UN staff are paid in base salary + post adjustment).
In OHRM website you can find information about G staff position payments, but it is one document for each duty station (therefore you can expect dozen of XLS files).
Our app does all this massive calculation for you and puts the final result (the job post, the deadline and an estimated salary), all together in your hands.
Information is gathered from XML files in the website http://www.beapeacekeeper.com
