Description

(Note: This app is not a substitute for 911. It is best for situations that do not require an emergency response.)

The dashcam that sends Safetygrams™, as you drive!

Safetygrams are brief videos that document unsafe events on the roadways, like aggressive driving. By default, they are visible to everyone, including law enforcement and insurance companies.

Just mount your device to your dashboard, start recording, and go for a drive. See something unsafe? Tap the screen 3 times! (You can also use a voice command.)

The app will instantly broadcast a Safetygram, which starts about 15 seconds in the past, and is 30 seconds total. That means it automatically captures the beginning, middle, and end of each event - while your eyes stay on the road!

Safetygrams are broadcast and displayed on www.busycop.com. Each Safetygram includes video, audio, GPS location, and speed (optional).

Despite the name, "Safetygrams" can also be used to document illegal (or just plain annoying) behaviors on the road.

Great for these situations:

◦ Aggressive driving
◦ Distracted driving
◦ Stoplight violations
◦ Defective vehicles
◦ Loose/insecure cargo
◦ Encroaching on pedestrians/bicyclists
◦ HOV lane abuse
◦ Nuisance vehicles
◦ Littering/illegal dumping
◦ ...and more!

BusyCop Dashcam can record in the background, while your favorite navigation/music app stays up front.

You can also "manually upload" selected portions of your drive (once your commute is over).

Use this app to defend yourself: Against liability, road rage, and distracted drivers!

Use it to protect others: Our online database (www.busycop.com) provides useful analytics for law enforcement, insurance companies, and the general public.

Don't be a victim! Help stop unsafe situations, before someone gets hurt.

For the version of this app with the Safetygram capability removed, see "Greeble Dashcam."

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Waste of time, useless app.
5 ★I think the app worked really good for a dashcam.
1 ★This app is absolute garbage. Let people drive in peace. This is a horribleapp, made by mediocre sniveling children who need to cuddle under theirlate mothers bussom. I've seen better apps made on ti 83 calculators. Notto mention those apps weren't made by little soy bois who couldn't handle alittle speed. Ah waah did somebody pass da wittle baby in their priusWAAAAA get bent mate. If I wanted to deal with little communist losers I'dlive in russia.
1 ★This app accesses the camera multiple times throughout the day, while notdriving, and while not opened. This is straight spyware and would beillegal if most folks u derstood what selecting agree on these permissionsdoes. Do NOT download this "road safety" app.
1 ★This is wrong on a moral level. "Driver shaming" is a concept that stains people who just want to drive in peace (that is, if it actually worked). The fact that these videos cannot be used as evidence in the majority of states provides peace of mind, knowing that someone's daily driving cannot be reported to the police without their knowledge. It is wrong that this is a thing, and I dont know a single person who would agree that it is right to mindlessly report people just trying to drive. EDIT: In the NHTSA report that you quoted, the 'driver error" causes of 94% of all accidents are split into many different categories. The most prominent cause of a driver error accident was due to "Recognition error", where a driver misinterpreted information or judged a situation incorrectly. Only next in line would be the "decision error", accounting for 33 percent of the "driver error" accidents. In total, The amount of accidents in this report caused by SPEEDING as the error was not nearly as high as you claim by misrepresenting the number of 94 percent. The argument that I am making is for people who drive this way, and are NOT careless drivers.
1 ★Not sure what this app is really for, other than collecting funny dash videos they can use for YouTube compilations. Legally, these videos can't actually be used in most states. The burden of proof is on the state agency, and a plate number has been deemed as insufficient. Hell, look at how easy it is to get out of speed camera tickets if an example is needed. As if that isn't enough, the use of this app is technically illegal in several states as well. Their social media manager also chooses to block people who ask questions, instead of answering them. Looking at the one other review here, the developer seems to enjoy the snarky side of responding to negative reviews instead of trying to actually fix a problem. I wonder what their YouTube compilation channel is. Too bad I can't ask them directly.
1 ★All this does is encourage childish behavior of said bad drivers by giving them a means to false report anyone that even slightly annoys them such as aftermarket exhaust or not moving out of the said drivers way causing road rage. This app isn't even technically legal in any state in the united states as it is yet another cause of distracted driving.
