Description
Tracer! Lightbox tracing app is an integrated tracing app for drawing and illustrating. This app is meant to be used with a physical paper for stencilling and drawing. you just need to select a template picture, then place a tracing paper over it and begin tracing.The default app is a white screen with a brightness control setting. Place your reference picture over the device and begin tracing. Great for tracing drawings and fonts, making stencils, colouring sheets, connect-the-dot's puzzles, etc.
You use the app to search for image references from the internet (using keywords or URL links), or an image from the device storage, or take a photo from the camera. Then place a tracing paper over the image and begin copying.
There is a lock button which will maximize the drawing space, and prevent the device from sleeping.
It's really great for making stencils and to practice drawing with.

4 ★Has been very helpful in my small art projects. My only complaint is there isn't a scale hold/percentage. When the image to big for my phone sometimes moving it changes the size, hard to line it back up.
5 ★I use this on my cromebook that folds into a tablet and it works really well. I would recomend turning up your device brightness closing your curtains and turning off lights so its easier to see.
5 ★While I haven't spent a great deal of time with this app, I did load an image and spent some time checking it out. I think this would be an extremely useful app for it's intended purpose. For instance, no more xeroxing an image and fiddling with contrast settings, trying to get an image that is traceable through regular paper. A lot of thoughtful and practical control to be found within this app. If you have need of a lightbox to trace something, try it. Kudos to the developers. Good Job! 🙂👍
5 ★What a fabulous idea! I think I'll be installing this on every device from now on. I have been trying to trace without something like this for a while! BTW, to anyone who is having struggles with this - it seems to be easier to use if I also lock the screen rotation. Otherwise if you twist wrong, it will reset the image. It would be nice if my zoom/tilt had a number I could replicate if I do lose it, I suppose, or saving the settings themselves. But mostly locking rotation is all that's needed.
5 ★Works as intended. Needs an ad free version. Also suggesting to have free movement of the image to where you want it before locking on screen.
4 ★Great app! Only one I can find that does this. My only improvement request would that the image shows up the same size when you lock it. Right now it shrinks it some percent and puts a white border around it, so it's hard to get the image to be exactly the size you want it to be which is frustrating.
1 ★I finally figured out how to use the app. my problem is I don't see my old pictures. it doesn't display the pictures. its only when I press the icon that I see the pictures. its very tedious to press all the icon to use the picture I want to trace. the app has all the permissions active but still no picture. I downloaded the app again still no picture displayed. I tried going online and offline still no displayed old picture. please help me!!! I would give it a five if I could see the old picture

5 ★This is the best app on the app store to trace stuff on paper through your phone/tablet. But if you have one of those tablet/phones. That has on screen controls like home and stuff like that it won't lock that. I love that you can zoom in and out of the image. Also was reading the reviews, there's a slight confusion on what you do on here. You just draw images on the screen with paper. Overall this is a really good app and why would you want a image that you can not really see.
3 ★Biggest flaw is that there is no way to reset light or settings to original, you have to manually try and find it. Would wish for a "reset all changes" button. Also image is placed Top Left by default, aligned centre center would be preferable. Otherwise it does what it promises, it's a tracing app.
3 ★Really like this app. The built in search engine is the best part. However i cannot open anything from my gallery. It just returns me to white screen and nothing happens when i open it. So the only way it works is the search engine. Please fix it.
4 ★Love this app. I was able to do image search within the app which worked way better than googling images did for me. The other day the searchnstopped search stopped working though after working for a year+. Hoping to figure out what happened. May have been something I did not realizing it. Even with that not working still love this app. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because my search stopped working. This is a great tool. I use this often.
