Description
Hello, my name is Tyler J Kriegel. I have earned his Masters in ME Design at Purdue University, with a focus in design. Some of the reasons why I chose to study at Purdue were because it had many engineering fields for me to choose from, and also because it was a prestigious school. There are several reasons why I chose mechanical engineering as my major. Firstly, the field is very broad and is useful in many industries, so I was confident at the time that I would be able to find something in it that I really enjoyed. Secondly, I really like the science involved with mechanical engineering, and I wanted to learn more about it. I chose design as my focus, because I enjoy its challenge. The information that I have learned about many things has to all fit together like in a puzzle when designing. I would accept working an internship in a related field though, because I believe that all kinds of information would be useful in my career.I also like to express my creativity in more creative ways. As a hobby, I enjoy writing fiction. I spend a lot of time thinking over my work and how I can improve it. I have revised my story several times to try to make it the best as possible. In middle school, I invented a board game as a school project. It was called ‘Maze Wizard’ and it utilized movable walls in order to create a changing maze for the players. The game was marketed and sold in stores, catalogs, and online. I may one day return to improve upon Maze Wizard and to integrate it with my own world.
