‘GoNU’, the official app of Northeastern Athletics, brings Husky fans closer to their favorite teams than ever before. The new-and-improved interface allows users to customize content and provides instant access to the latest headlines, up-to-the-minute scores and stats, links to live video streams, tickets, and a host of interactive features within the new Game Day page.The app is currently in beta mode, and Northeastern Athletics wants your feedback to create the best possible experience for our users. Please fill out the in-app feedback form and let us know what you think.
Some new features of the ‘GoNU’ app include:
• Pick your favorite Northeastern teams to receive customized content and notifications, including schedules, rosters, statistics, conference standings, video features, photo galleries and more.
• Game Day: Be the first to know how your favorite teams are doing through our new Game Day feature. Whether you are at the game or on the go, Game Day gives you a chance to interact with your fellow Huskies on social media, vote in polls, get discounts and win free stuff! Game Day also features live stats, as well as links to watch and listen to games.
• Social media integration: let your friends know that you’re at the game by sharing a photo on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtags #GoNU and #RedBlackOnePack
• Location-based features: allow the app to access your location to receive exclusive notifications, discounts and promotions from Northeastern Athletics and our corporate partners in your area.
• Watch home games live in HD through GoNUxstream, and get instant access to highlights and press conferences just minutes after a game ends.
• Easy access to the athletics ticket portal at tickets.GoNU.com to purchase tickets to home basketball and hockey games.
With an 18-sport, Division-I athletics program, Northeastern competes with some of the top schools in the nation in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), Hockey East Association, and Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges. Thousands of fans and alumni follow the Huskies by attending games, following events through radio and television broadcasts, interacting with teams on social media, and watching the live HD game feeds on GoNU.com/xstream.
