Control interest-based advertising on apps on your mobile device. California residents can submit requests to opt out of the sale of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).AppChoices gives you transparency with participating companies, and lets you limit their collection of cross-app data for interest-based ads. Brought to you by the Digital Advertising Alliance, and backed up by the DAA’s independent accountability program, AppChoices lets you opt out from interest-based advertising with a particular company, or “Choose All Companies” with one simple click.
Did you know that some of the ads you receive in apps are customized based on predictions about your interests generated from your app usage? This is called interest-based advertising (IBA). AppChoices gives you choices about whether you receive this type of advertising that is based on cross-app data collected over time across different apps and devices. To opt out of IBA with a particular company, simply set the switch next to the company’s logo from “ON” to “OFF.” AppChoices lets you decide which, if any, participating companies deliver interest-based advertising to your device.
When it comes to ads in your apps based on your interests, it’s your choice.
California residents may also use AppChoices to submit requests to opt out from the sale of personal information under the CCPA for this device for some or all of the participating companies. To request an opt out for a particular company, set the Status button located next to the company's logo to "Send." Select "CA Opt Out Send All" to opt out from all the listed companies. To learn more about a particular company's policies, click on its logo.

Download AppChoices APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

3 ★Not all ad networks are listed, could also provide better explanations for everything. Would also be nice to have a better way of knowing that you actually are opted out instead of just a checkmark. If possible, it would be nice to be able to modify or choose what specific things each (or all) network(s) can do (kind of like permissions).

1 ★This does nothing to stop the pop ups . You can supposedly opt out of all adds from a bunch of companies I've never heard of. Then immediately a new ad arrives from a company not on the list. I was trying to set the alarm for my house and one of these pop up adds crashed my alarm company app and I had to restart my phone before I could set my alarm.
5 ★The access this App allows is very well done and let's us exercise our fundamental right to privacy. It is user friendly, but you do have to scan the fine print on the DAA sites to truly opt out of all entirely. As well as request to be forgotten once they delete your PI. Hope it works and I will see how long it lasts before having to go back and update my preferences for myself and my children over 13 years of age. Hopefully this App does what it is developed for Thank you!
1 ★These apps Google allows to be so aggressive ,on a product I pay for, when running take up the whole screen ! The adds are AGRESSIVE ! They block content, they pop back up when you delete them& they turn off the program you are watching .There is absolutely no way I would ever purchase any google affiliated product again! I pay for this product ! These advertiser control my tablet! My tablet is a samsung tablet and I will never purchase anything that they are affiliated with again either!
1 ★No useful information, app only allows you to "opt out" of targetted ads, but there is NO relevant way to know which advertising congomerate is pushing the offending ads. DAA brags about being a quality certification service, but provides zero means to give feedback on false/misleading ads. To be clear, I give zero f,*$&s about opting in or out of targetted ads, what I need is a surefire way to block FAKE ads from companies like playrix (Homescapes, gardenscapes) that show 100% false gameplay
1 ★I am still seeing and then I've never seen before all the sudden all these ads started up two months ago and I opted out and it seem like you know what you're talkin about because I opted out soon as I get done with the site I go over to do something and there's another red this is really getting bad because I do a lot of emails and when your commercial or your ad comes up it interrupts my email and I lose it and I got to start all over again
1 ★Popups adds on the screen of my device is so annoying and disturbing especially when these adds come at a time when I am doing something.i wish my screen could be free for one moment from any interruption of any deceiful, annoying, disgusting adds. They comments on happening that are not true just makeup stories to fit their agenda.my wish is some one will be held accountable for selling people's informations to all these companies who use us to make money. money for adds is just everything.
5 ★This app is bad. even though I opted out of a company's harrassing advertisements, the ads nevertheless continued to appear on the screen of my phone. furthermore, I do not understand how this can possibly continue, in that, I pay for the use of the internet, as well as my phone.
1 ★this app is completely useless it' does not let you stop these ads popping up even when you're trying to take pictures even though this is supposed to help you control the ads you don't really have the kind of control you would think you did . I have nothing good to say about App choices if your phone seems like it bugged and advertisements keep popping up nine times out of 10 day I'm part of the reason
1 ★I hate this app and all the pop up advertising on my cell phone all day. Go to open Gmail and there's an ad. Open messenger there's an ad. Should probably ask me next time if I even want pop up ads on my phone before you just go ahead and add it without my consent. Hate it!!!!
