Book Retriever Scanning App APK Download for Android

Description

The Book Retriever Scanning App is the companion app for use with the web-based Book Retriever application. You must have a Book Retriever account to use this app. Note that if you have the original Book Retriever app, that account will not work with this new app. Visit bookretriever.com for more information.

The Scanning App allows for easy entry of books into your Book Retriever account by scanning the standard EAN barcode for the 13 digit ISBN. It includes a Normal Mode and Quick Mode.

- Normal Mode allows you to set the number of copies you have for a particular book
- Quick Mode adds 1 copy and resets itself to be ready for the next barcode scan.

Important - Requires a device with an autofocus camera.

3 ★I like its ease of use but really dont like that i have to scan it in here and then go to the website to assign to a library. Wish i could see what i was doing while i was doing it or if you could scan through the website app

2 ★I find this app better than book wizard as I can add books from different publishers. I find that it is difficult to assign books to a library. The app has an option to switch libraries but does not show the libraries associated with my account.

3 ★I know it is a scanning app and it works well for just scanning. It wouldbe tremendously helpful if I could add where the book is located after Iscan it. It would also be helpful to be able to see a list of the booksadded so I could check if a book is in the system or not.

4 ★I understand some of the complaints, however, I thought it was clear thatit's a companion to the web based program. We use it for our school. If youwant to add locations you must have a school account. Ken at book retrieverwas very helpful in getting our school started.

5 ★Excellent scanner app. You have to make your account on your computer, then use this app to scan your books. Its not a cataloging app, its a scanning app. The cataloging occurs online on your computer. It functions perfectly for the intended purpose. All other reviews misunderstood the app. Please try for yourself before writing this off.

1 ★There is no way for you to login in the beginning. It requires you to log in online to the website and create an account. What it fails to mention is that there is a free trial but after that you have to pay. Teachers already pay enough for their classrooms.

1 ★There's no way to use this app. First thing when you open it, it requires a log in. Which you've never created so you can't log in. There is no option to create an account, so no way to use this app! Disappointed was really looking forward to using it! :/
