L’App Castello Gamba nasce con l’obiettivo di rendere più accessibile, completa e inclusiva l’esperienza di visita del Museo di Arte moderna e contemporanea della Valle d’Aosta.Grazie al progetto “Cultura senza barriere: il Castello Gamba da toccare, vedere e sentire” finanziato nell’ambito del PNRR Cultura 4.0, è stato possibile procedere all’ideazione e allo sviluppo di una app in grado di accompagnare alla scoperta delle collezioni d’arte del Castello Gamba tutte le categorie di visitatori, con particolare attenzione agli utenti sordi e ciechi.
L’app, infatti, oltre a essere tradotta in francese e inglese, presenta traduzioni in LIS-Lingua Italiana dei Segni, e descrizioni appositamente elaborate per utenti ciechi e opportunamente corredate dai modellini tattili di alcune opere selezionate per ogni sala.
Grazie a questo nuovo strumento digitale, il Castello Gamba si apre ad un pubblico ancora più vasto ed eterogeneo offrendo un’esperienza museale inclusiva e immersiva in grado di coinvolgere tutti nelle numerose e variegate attività del Museo di arte moderna e contemporanea, un’istituzione che dal 2012 dialoga con il territorio e, in particolare, con le istituzioni scolastiche regionali.
