ÜBER DEN AUDIOGUIDEEntdecken Sie 26 Künstlerinnen, die Vielfalt ihres künstlerischen Schaffens zwischen Frankfurt und Paris, aber auch ihren Einfluss auf die Kunst und Gesellschaft um 1900.
Die App beinhaltet Audiotracks und Abbildungen zu rund 30 Kunstwerken und hat eine Dauer von etwa 60 Minuten.
ÜBER DIE AUSSTELLUNG
Die Moderne ist ohne den Beitrag von Künstlerinnen nicht zu denken. Die Ausstellung erzählt die facettenreiche Geschichte von 26 Malerinnen und Bildhauerinnen, die mit großer Eigenständigkeit die Kunst zum Beruf wählten und Erfolg hatten.
Zwischen 1880 und den 1930er- Jahren waren sie in Paris und Frankfurt tätig und unterstützten sich gegenseitig in internationalen Netzwerken als Lehrerinnen, Sammlerinnen, Mäzeninnen oder Agierende in der Kulturpolitik. Mehr als 75 Gemälde und Skulpturen geben einen Einblick in die vielfältige Kunstproduktion dieser wichtigen Protagonistinnen, die auf Augenhöhe mit ihren Künstlerkollegen arbeiteten.
