The TryMyUI mobile app lets you test out mobile websites and apps, and get paid to give your feedback. A typical test takes 15-20 minutes and pays $10. You must be signed up as a tester at www.trymyui.com to test on the TryMyUI app unless you are a guest tester.
What does a TryMyUI mobile test consist of?
1. Read the frame of mind to put yourself into the mindset of a real user of the website or app for testing. 2. Follow the tasks given, doing your best to complete them all in order in under 20/30 minutes. 3. When done with all of the tasks, upload your finished video. 4. Write your answers to the 4 questions of the wrap-up survey.
Make sure to register as a tester at www.trymyui.com first so you can start receiving tests!

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★TryMyUI had me beta test an app. It kept crashing the recorder, and I had to retake the test four times. After I submitted my test (over two hours later), TryMyUI rejected it saying it didn't upload correctly. Hours of my life were wasted, and TryMyUI rewards me exactly $0.00 for it. Every other testing company reimburses you for your time when you are testing a faulty product. What a scam company.
4 ★Just finished my first test, took me several hours to complete the configuration of the recorder because my phone needed additional permission to allow the test to start besides the developer mode and screen pointer. Worked it out in the end app has its flaws but makes the job. Maybe we should do a whole test for the app itself, send it to me!
2 ★There is no support for testers. Testers, not customers, are the backbone of this type of business. After submitting my qualification test, almost a week later, they haven't reviewed it. There is no way to contact them as a tester. The sales side is heavy. The support side for testers is almost non existent. The phone number provided is for sales only. It is even difficult to email them as a tester. There are several alternatives out there for professional testers AND clients.
5 ★The website is legit and does pay. You have to sit at your computer&literally click on the test as fast as you can to get a test if you're not willing to sit at computer 24/7 this is not for you b/c you will not get a lot of tests. they do send out an email but in my experience you only have about 10 seconds to click a test&if you do & dont start recording fast enough someone else can steal the test from you. so you have to be SUPER fast!
3 ★Unless you answer the notification immediately, you dont get many tests. Ive answered, literally, within 10 seconds of getting a notification, several times, only to be told Im too late. Ive taken, I believe three tests in almost 5 months, and thats not from a lack of trying.
4 ★this app can be a little buggy on my Android, but generally if I tap around I figure out what to do and I'm learning to successfully complete tests on my phone. try my UI is a very nice company. they are always making improvements to their system.
1 ★I completed a test and was then told I wouldn't be paid because I'd not actually tested the app. When I asked for clarification as to what I did wrong and a copy of my test so I could confirm it wasn't the app's malfunction, I was met with silence. When I later emailed TryMyUI, I quickly received a response, but they misunderstood my question. When I responded with clarification and even screenshots of the reviews here, I was, again, met with silence. Very disappointing.
4 ★It's a cool app to test UI
5 ★Enjoyable and responsive. I think there is a learning curve for me.
1 ★Does not update any information about tests or anything. It always has the same screen with a video that I have seen several times. Not nearly enough tests. Total waste of time just to get 10$ a week because there aren't any test available
3 ★First time user, did my first test tonight and immediately encountered UI crashes. The app continued, but while recording my test, I got serveral pop-up warnings about crashes and whether I wanted to ignore och close down. Doesn't look good in the clip, I would assume!
1 ★I've had this app for a little over half a year and received not one single test. If you just wanna fill your phone up with random Apps this is one of the apps you can fill up with.
