Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Not particularly useful. Best to use your online account and ignore the app.
1 ★The app sets random timers on my car for 3-6 days in advance and stops charging my car.
1 ★Hopeless. Total saga getting it installed and linked to kia app etc, but it's connected and can see the status of the car, but just sits in a planning charge status all night
3 ★Edit: from ovo reply. The app doesn't list all on the Drop-down options in adding Car and charger types outside of what's listed on their own as on website.
1 ★Well, you try getting this to work....
1 ★Awful recently the scheduled charge isn't happening or I get charged the full rate even though schedule set by OVO is in place and ovo ignore emails
2 ★The tarrif is great but switching between two cars something it hangs in planning schedule and never charges 🫤
1 ★Terrible. Simply doesn't work with my Mercedes apo
1 ★Useless so far. I have 2 OVO accounts and the APP won't let me select which one to apply chargeAnytime to.
5 ★The app is fast but doesn't tell you much re usage. Works well with my Toyota BZ4X and is reasonably accurate. In my scheme the car does the switching and depends on the mobile network for signaling. Today it's a big problem after being fine for 3 months maybe it's Toyota's end or the usual culprit O2. A compatible wall box using an ethernet hard wired connection looks like a better scheme.
