The application takes into account your car's characteristics such as model, battery, charger, wheels, motors and tires along with your driving style. During planning the application collects enroute weather, determines elevation gains/losses, uses wind speeds, temperatures, estimated speed, charging capabilities and your state of charge to help you discover the optimal trip with the least amount of total time expended.
You can save your trips* to be used over and over again, compare trips to each other using a variety of provided charts and graphs.

What's new in version 7.1
I will be sun-setting EVTO in July of 2024. What this means is that the application will continue to work as it does today until the end of July 2024. Between now and then, as annual or yearly subscriptions come up for renewal, they will not be renewed. Only Monthly subscriptions will be offered from this time forward and they will be suspended in June of 2024. 5 ★This app (EVTO) is the best & easiest app I have seen/used to plan a long(multi day) road trip in your Tesla. I don't want to have to sit in my car,in my garage, and try to plan a multi day road trip, including chargelocations and motel accommodations. It is much easier to sit at your deskor a comfortable chair and use this app to figure how far you want to goeach day and where you are going to charge. (We rented a house in Phoenixfor the entire month of April & used this app to easily plot our chargestops, and where to spend the night, often in a motel with free destinationSuper Chargers.) I have not seen a better or easier app to plan long tripsfor our Tesla adventures. It is well worth the meager membership fee. Tryit and you will love it!
1 ★Greater than 500 mile trip requires a subscription.
1 ★UI not user friendly, seems to be put together in a hurry, lack of much functionality ( own location for starting point ), have to pay for a "free" incomplete app. Feels like a cash grab, an app designed for it's users should never feel like a cash grab.
5 ★I can't say enough good about this app. The more you get in and tweak your trips the better I like it.
1 ★Clippleware - not decently usable without paying to unlock the app
3 ★Reviews are required to unlock features. So it catch 22, if I say it is great, I say so without having had a chance to use it. The crippled version is useless since you can't plan a trip over 500 miles. So yo have to pay to really know how it works, and in paying they set you up for automatic payments without asking. Once you've paid choosing a rout other than their perfereed rout is difficult
5 ★Free to use (500 miles or less) for just glancing at a section of a road trip while supercharging to get a time estimate while away from your car. Easy to use. Wish there was a reset button to clear current trip, but can just do new trip.
