With this, the essence of India comes closer to the hearts of all Indians, as we celebrate our 75th year of Independence. The endeavor is to eventually create a virtual museum to be enjoyed from the comfort of one’s home. It also supports a gaming option through which, as one traverses the different places, there is a gain in score and new adventures unravel.India’s cultural heritage is age old and characterized by diversity. The way of life in India is a sum of the many imprints woven into its history by local and outside influences. The matrix of the Indian society is not just defined by the attire we wear, the food we eat or the arts we indulge in but also by our thinking and our values.
As India is adapting to change in the ever growing world, it has become increasingly important to preserve the foundation of where we come from and who we truly are. They became the natural guardians of the values, skills, arts and architecture of our beginnings.
As different regions of India have been impacted differently across time and have been influenced by the geography and climate of its location, each region has developed a special way of being that composes its culture. This has formed the vibrant canvas of India’s heritage.
Easy access is to be provided to these centers of gravity of our culture, through an Application and a Website, built with direct contributions from the villagers themselves. It would also serve as a travel guide to promote and support the culture and tourism industry of our country. It aims to support government initiatives to promote and conserve culture.
This will be a comprehensive platform of information detailing the life, history, and ethos of the villages, available to virtual and real-time visitors. Just as it will be a platform for the villagers to showcase their place, life, and experiences. Each village will eventually be developed into a Virtual Museum. The target audience will be Indians waiting to connect with their culture and history as well as people across the globe with a desire to know about India. Any visitor will be able to navigate and travel to these places and get a good sense of its people and their culture from any smart device. It could also encourage them to take a trip to these places and thereby give a fillip to the economy of these places through tourism.
