Description
Weather Night Dock is an application for dock stations, showing information about the current time, battery level and next alarm, but also about the weather* beautiful, easily readable form.Can be used as a "night clock". The screen brightness can be set manually or automatically by a light sensor.
Can be used as Daydream for Android 4.2+ smartphones, tablets, TV (and boxes).
Has a variety of settings:
- Auto start/close program when connecting/disconnecting the charger, even if the device is locked.
- Customizable time format and temperature display (12/24 hour, Celsius/Fahrenheit)
- Quick setting of alarms by double-tap on information about the nearest alarm clock

5 ★Very good weather app & clock, could do with an alarm function (Preset alarm tones or user defined music for alarm (like Alarm Clock Plus). *** Update *** Now has alarm, timer, stopwatch on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S8+), thank you devs,... but sadly, not on my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7), & I primarily use the Weather Night Dock Free app on my tablet, beside my bed.
4 ★Very good, nice big clock and instantly goes to the clock as soon as you plug it in. The only critasizem is you can't get rid of " checks the charger connection" notification. Unfortunately the clock will not start automatically since android update. I have tried other clocks but it seems non of them now work as soon as you plug in the charger
5 ★For me this is the best $2.00 I ever paid for the Pro, I was trying to build my own home clock using the Pi3 since all my clocks keep losing the time and this app did the trick. Simple and effective, love it. I have a 17" monitor disguised as a picture frame with this app. Perfect. A+++
5 ★Edit: The Dev responded immediately to my review letting me know that the change had been made in the newest revision. Updated the app, reopened it and sure enough! Status bar is always on. Bumping my review to 5* and buying the Pro version. Thank you! ----- The only thing missing is an option to keep the status bar visible. Make that happen and I will happily buy the Pro version!!!
2 ★Setting screen brightness to minimum actually turns off device's backlight and with completely black screen its impossible to use the device any further of course... need to reboot. But this app will remember this idiotic setting, so when you try to use it again your screen will go blank again, yeah :( If you got into this problem: go to settings > apps > find this app and clear its cache, reboot, and set it up again - just dont set brightness to minimum
5 ★Works fantastic as a night stand clock app, love the autodimming feature. Love that it turns off the Android Navigation buttons and white bar. Switches off reliably when removing from wireless charge stand, but no longer will turn on automatically :( Have to manually turn on each night. Not a deal breaker though. Samsung Note 10+ running Android 10 Though now I am getting the Rate Me nag screen, even though I have already rated it???
3 ★Skips an hour in 24 hours. I use it on a always on mode, on a device that I use simply as a clock. Now I'd expect the clock to show the right time. This one skipped 2 hours in 2 days. Refreshes and autocorrects when you touch the screen. Was intending to give a single star because it misses the TIME which is the basic of the app... but cutting it some slack.
4 ★I have a Samsung S8 edge and my problem is it keeps updating the weather every 40 seconds or so, no matter what the update setting is, even when it's not docked it still does it, I have to completely close down the app for it to stop updating.
1 ★loved the display until it permanently burned into my screen! I had the screen burn protection turned on but it still did it. very disappointing since I've only had my phone a few months. would not recommend this app because of that.
5 ★This is an absolute favorite of mine, very well programmed and informative especially st night obviously. With all my electronics around me I.cannot glance at my clock easily so this screen is so very integral to my life All phones should have it !!!!!
5 ★Very cool night clock. Settings allow night clock to automatically appear when charger is connected, which is reassuringly confirming your phone is actually charging (great for preventing the "whoops I didn't turn on the charger" syndrome !).
4 ★Very nice program I highly recommend it. One polite request to developer. Can you please add functionality for changing the font size of the weather related data on the forecast as some older people need to enlarge them a bit more to be able to read?
