Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★The app looks interesting, but has a number of problems. The only directions are what is found in the Google Play Store description. The author's assumptions are not explained nor what the calculations really are. The UI is simple, but it appears not to automatically correct for the crop factor. The UI also does not let you a keep a list of lenses that you commonly use for astrophotography. So it isn't as useful as it could be.
5 ★simple app, you should have this stuff memorized anyway, this is a good memory jogger for astrophotographers of a certain age, though. Double-checked the math for 1.5x 1.6x and ff, seems good. Thanks!
5 ★Simple, straightforward and no ads. Perfect.
4 ★it's still in development, but easy interface, and good interface. gets me in the ballpark of where my exposure time needs to be and that's exactly what I wanted. some customizability (some variation on zoom lens, focal length, camera type) - even if your camera isn't listed, a similar camera can get you into the right setting. looking forward to seeing what version 0.9 and 1.0 might bring. :-) (lost 1 star) for lack of a general "4/3" camera option. would also like to see 6x6 film option as well. (I shoot 4/3, several 6x6 film, and canon 70d) yes, I could do the math myself, but apps make things easier. others might appreciate an actual 35mm setting, although this can be achieved by selecting 'full frame' option. (workarounds vs simple selections) thanks! :-)
1 ★Wrong calculation If you have crop sensor
5 ★It works but I'm no photographer so I have no clue how to use it.
